If shield upgrades would increase the batteries regenaration amount, I'd love it.

But only if it would be mounted on same spot as armor upgrades to make a choice harder.

But yeah, interesting idea, i'd be up for it. I hate shieldrunners, but the thought of shooting unarmored ship when the shield is down makes me warm inside.
