Thankyou for highlighting this oversight in our law. We had thought it not worth clarifying, but evidently this seems not to have been the case. We have since revised our laws, to rectify two issues. Firstly, we have solidified the position of the state concerning the corporations of Daumann Heavy Construction, Republican Shipping and Kruger Minerals. Please note that this does not include the ALG, who perform a valuable service to the Republic even in these difficult times.
Secondly, we have adjusted the amount that can be levied as a fine for breaking any part of the law. This is due to the government feeling that it cannot provide enough of a financial deterrant to breaking the law with the previous limit.
The first clarification can be found in section four, the second in section five.
Thankyou for bringing this to our attention, officer.
As an addendum, "slaughtering" is such a powerful word. It would be much more truthful if you were to say "maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Liberty in times of regrettable conflict with another house due to their inability to stem their territorial tendancies".
- Boris Livingstone, Secretary of State for Internal Affairs
As a stubborn police officer insisting on every line of the Liberty Law, I would have even provided an escort to a Rheinland corporation tagged civilian ship providing it got docking rights at the lawful destination within Liberty house space.
The right granted by the oorp-ID-item would have been only used, if the ship in question would have been violating the law.
I am sorry for the inconveniences caused.
PS: I like the writing style of the new passage. It is also much more inrp than the part about "IDs" which already got me in trouble one time. I was not aware they would be oorp, if even listed in a inrp document like the Liberty Law.
Considering this is in General Discussion, I'm not sure wether to take this in an IRP or OORP fashion.
Core issue is that there's still Rheinland NPCs in areas where they should no longer be (Liberty and the Independent Worlds leading towards it). The proper solution is to remove Kruger, Daumann and Republican from those encounters, which isn't too hard to do, but requires the system ini files to be edited.
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.

The style is inRP, but it is valid to interpret it in a purely ooRP manner.
PS. I didn't write that.
Also, not only do those Rheinland NPCs need to be removed from space, they also need to go from bars all over Liberty as well.

Your entire embargo, or at least the limits it goes to, breaks canon as set forth retroactively by the word of Igiss in his description of Liberty in 4.86. This matter has been brought to your attention in the past, and that of Rheinland.
Please fix it. Sincerely,
Your local Rules Lawyer.
