What I'm looking at now is the err file and the following is what it says...
"InnoDB: Error: log file.\ib_logfile0 is of different size 0 178257920 bytes
InnoDB: than specified in the .cnf file 0 25165824 bytes!
080518 14:27:22 [ERROR] Default storage engine (InnoDB) is not available
080518 14:27:22 [ERROR] Aborting
080518 14:27:22 [Note] C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin\mysqld-nt: Shutdown complete"
In MySQL data directory delete ib_logfile0 and ib_logfile1 (or rename them).
Got the service running, but didn't make a password. When I didn't use a password, the install cleared, but when I do it fails. However...
If I don't use a password, the WoW server refuses to run without a Root password...
You fear oblivion. Yet you forget. The universe remembers every atom of your being. Even dust hums your name in the dark. Roleplay is dead. Long live Powertraders and PvP I guess.
Managed to get it working, turns out it was jsut a series of bad installs with MySQL it looks like.
