It's no actually. It says quite clearly that the killing character must leave the game, not the system.

Yes, you only need keep out the system for two hours if the person who killed you asks that you leave the system and he remains in that same system for 2 hours. Once he leaves the system you was killed in by them, you can re-enter the system again before 2 hours is up. But if they come back in the system again, then you must leave once more until 2 hours passes.

That's how I understand it anyway now.

That's how I understand it anyway now.

Read Loken's post above. He said it correctly. What you stated was previously kind of a "gentlemen's agreement" that some players allowed and others didn't (allowed as in its still against the rules but they wouldn't report you for it).

I didn't know that, good to know. So if I'm killed in group battle, I can stay in system unless the person who killed me asks that I leave it.

Actually if your in a group fight, ALL the enemies in that fight are considered to have killed you, so any of them can ask you to leave, and you cant re-engage any of them.
