There are 6 assignable weapon groups for the player. What if these could be triggered in a timed sequence by FLHook command?

I was thinking of a command /cf <number of weapon groups> <time delay between each> , as well as a termination command /cfend.

For simplicity, assume the select weapon group commands are the Freelancer default. Otherwise a separate function might be needed to locate what key activates the group.

Example: /cf 2 0.25
(use the first two weapon groups, 0.25 second delay between each. Used to make 4x 2.0 refire guns into 2x 4.0 refire guns).

What do you think?

Leave skill based actions to do by players themselves. Or I demand complete autopilot for traders!

Not a bad idea actually. Upon reaching a waypoint, an automatic goto/dock to the next waypoint. That way you can set a destination (even outside your current system) and chase to it largely on automatic.

As for autochainfiring, it's not a bad idea.

Are you serious ? Next step : a script that generates greetings and engagement notices.

@Friday : Chainfiring effectively requires skill and habit. I don't think it's a good idea to implement a FLHook command for it. It would be like putting an automatic strafing option, see what I mean ?

*ships start shooting and evading at the ship is has targeted.

/pvp off
*Ship stops the pvp and returns back to freeflight

/pirate
*Cruisedisrupts your target until propely hit
* will auto-send /l1, /l2 commands, (they need to be filled in correctly)

actually the idea of automated tradeflights sounds good , that way traders can focus more on RP !

yay afk-trading! There's enough time to type while you are trading as it is, so that argument is pretty mood. It would only help people not to miss their destination while chatting *looks at draggy*
