I don't think it'd make sense with Disco RP, since we're taking the destruction of the Solar system as canon.

But it could be an Easter egg/secret system, kinda like Connecticut.

However, most areas use docking rings because they act as orbital elevators, eliminating the need to waste a ton of fuel in trying to reach escape velocity to leave a planet. Docking rings also save fuel in landing because during atmospheric re-entry, a lot of fuel is wasted in trying to stabilize the ship if it lands without the use of a docking ring. The docking ring provides an orbital elevator for smoother, more efficient re-entry. However, the poorer factions, like the Corsairs and the Outcasts, still use their ships to reach escape velocity. In Omicron-81, an infocard of the moon, which has no docking ring, says that Outcasts will land on the planet to mine the massive metal deposits there before taking off in their ships.

However, I do agree with you that a star's death would leave a remnant. Even if Sol's outer layers were blown far away, the core, now known as a white dwarf, would still remain. However, I don't know if anything would still be orbiting it. Someone pointed out that if there's a sudden change in the mass of the object that everything is orbiting, the orbiting objects could suddenly just fly out of their orbits, which does make sense.

I say again, Fussion-powered engines, why the frak would ships waste lots of fuel if they're powered with fusion engines? they actually waste more fuel in space than taking off, dockng rings don't dock them, it just let's them in and out the planet, which is pretty stupid that ships don't have thermal shielding. Probably in Omicron 81 they're using shielded ships.

And again, O41.

Also another RL example. Look at Australia, how many of the descendants of the colonists want to go back to wherever their ancestors came from for this reason only? Same with Sirius and Earth if you ask me

Haven't read the last 6 pages.

Compromise:
We replace Conn with Sol.

Done. It doesn't hurt the canon but Sol's still a nice place to visit. Well. Nice, if you like charred crap floating around in a huge vacuum.

No. O41 is part of the Sirius sector. Sol was/is not part of the Sirius sector, thus O41 cannot be Sol.

[color=#FFFFFF]For your info

Kaharak is hell, temperatures in excess of 380 degrees K near the equator no resourses on the planet itself, orbiting a dying star (yes it is), The Kharakian system has 7 planets and were it not for the asteroid belt the Kushan could only dream of building the scaffold and the mothership. Don't compare a single obsolete system (Sol) with over 50 systems packed with incredible habitable planets and loaded with resources

They made the mothership and got to hiigara not just because Kharak was that bad, they started it when they found the stone with the galactic map, and they had observatories they would haue found another planet and go....well that aside from that kharak got glassed and the kushan were in a roaring rampage of revenge and wanted to extinct the taiidan.

But it doesn't mean somebody would want to get to Earth, or at least to whatever is left of Sol because as you put it "Sirius is the paradise compared to Sol", there's nomads, wars, outcasts, pirates and all the frak up, sopmebody would want to get to Earth just like NTF wants to make a ship and gtfo.

I'm sure someone would, that isn't a reason to add a system to the game. Especially since in role play very few people would have the ability to get there. It did require sleeper ships, remember?

Sol was destroyed, that is a known fact in Sirius. Maybe not to everyone but it is known. No one alive in Sirius today would even know they entered what was left of the Sol system unless they had nav information from the sleeper ships or the guy that made it to Sirius after the system was blown up. You also need to understand that said nav info is 800 years out of date.

Ok, I'm confused, do people know about Sol's destruction or not? If so, how many, like what percentage of the population? I was always under the impression that no one knew.

Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams
Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction
Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid
Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space
Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Liberty and Nomad Backstory, Very interesting - read it!

How many times I have to say, how do you know it was destroyed?, it flashed, yet the intro didn't show if it was "destroyed", it destroyed the planets, but it never shown Earth, and it even showed nomads, yet it wouldn't make sense as nomads were in a popsicle and if there were other nomads it wouldn't make sense too that they didn't follow Atticus Rockford to Sirius to kill the rest of humans in the case they're shivan-like to blow up Sol randomly, and if it was the DK, they would have played with Earth rather than blow it up, then I say again, it was rather a clean up in space than a explosion, Sol doesn't have mass to even go nova.

And yes, it did require Sleeper ships, but nobody said there would be just one JH or a Wormhole directly to Sol.
