A bit off topic...

How do you actually view the .sur files? I'd love to inspect some hitboxes myself but I don't know how...

On topic: Raven Claw hitbox should be fixed!

Well.. what exactly did you mean by that?

Sure it can use improvement..but compared to how some other ships around here look it's reasonably good.

Even with this "big" hitbox I rank Rogue GB as the best GB in game (not counting BHG GS), though IMG GB is close, specially the 3 turrets right next to each other in the front make it great aiming platform.

that was reply to Jinx's post...she said it looks good from the side...so i showed how it looks from the top and front...that day when i made all those images i didn't had time to make all 3 views...

and i think that hit box is good...(as it should since i scaled it to fit best to the ship back then when ship was made)...

yes, it fits well. - i just made the comment about "from the side" cause i was curious how it looked from the front / top. - no idea how good the rogue gb is, never had one, nor went against one ( other than the gb patrols )

Can you post the hitbox for the slipstream?

Hard CMP crashes every time I try to open a file.

Ah, kk, thanks for the descrip. It wasn't labeled, and had never seen the ship before, so couldn't recognize it.

I might have found a possible solution for the problem with Forsaken's visual SUR tutorial. As a few of you may know, my hitbox of the Crow had 5 parts, but only the first part worked. This gave me the idea of putting all parts of the hitbox together into one part and creating some extra groups (just like the dummy groups in the CMP, but this time in the SUR) located in the hitbox itself. After doing this and exporting/splicing the SUR file(s) it should work. I'll test it right away.

EDIT: Insta-crash. >.< Okay, won't touch the hot iron again.
