I'm not addicted to a game still in development (Minecraft style). Your goal (if any), is to build a rocket, send your three cosmonaughts into a stable orbit.
Its tougher than you think, my current (on-going) simulation has my people at... 333,000 meters and climbing since I ran out of fuel, though their intertia is very slowly falling.
I've had... many failed rockets, and after watching some videos on Youtube... well. You'll get the idea.
The speed was increasing of about 0.2 m/s per second, slow acceleration, but zero thrust. Created from a three booster final stage that I designed to do orbit with, but an unexpected AFK came back to this. Oh well, atleast we got to be the fastest men to exist before we got lost in space.
It needs variable thrust per engine, not just per stage. I tried making a five engine final stage shuttle which was launched on a Saturn V base, it worked, but the problem is that my strong three primary engines guzzled all my fuel reserves when I just wanted some minor movement from my two ion engines (I had it designed with a centeral tank). It also meant the whole Ion engine thing was useless as I couldnt run them on full thrust power without the primary liquid fuel boosters. It made it annoying.
Ion Engines arn't enough to do much in orbits either, so they are pretty useless unless you just want to go deep space exploring, not unless they add individual thrust anyway.
[color=#FFFFFF]It's like Orbiter but you can play it while stoned! Thanks for the link I'll finally try it out. I've been seing guys make threads about it on /v/
