Fortunately for us, .87 will be focused on quality rather than quantity, and while the current LHGS was fine in 2006, I think it's time to say goodbye to it. I know there are quite a few people against replacing it, but everyone can see that it doesn't really fit in Freelancer.
On the model itself, it's looking good, still needs a few tweaks (that have been stated already) and it will probably be ready for texturing.
' Wrote:It actually got buffed 15k hull points as well as 70bots/bats.
And I actually think the current model looks better, in my opinion, even Freelancer-ish.
Are we playing the same Freelancer here? The proposed model looks far more fitting. Oh and you should check out the big version of that image on the wiki, the textures are low-quality too.
I like the proposed model. Keep the sensor pods open.
A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
I always liked the old model. It's very unique and has a very mean appearance. It also fits well with the bayonet.
So to me (on the outside looking in) its the broadsword that was always the odd man out in the LH ship line. The proposed model looks like you want to take the line in that direction. Well that's okay, but it doesnt look like anything else in FL either, nor does it fit with the bayonet. So can we see the new HF model too
It looks very small and light. Doesn't really fit in my Opinion. You can see the resemblance to the Broadsword, I just don't know if that was intended or not. Make it heavier, add a third Engine below or behind the Cockpit. Also, remove the flipped down Caps. It looks weird and it'll look even weirder when you'd be flying it.
I don't see anything Similar comparing the Bayonet with the current Gunship.
