corsairs can fly other ships as their titan (i think) but why? this problems are only because we try to stay in our ships.we all can switch to ravens or virage or other available ships,but that will be not good in rp.

I voted yes, I do not want my ship instakilled or at the very least all my guns blown off by a mine. (Note to self: must remap mine button)

Actually you need 2 or 3 mines to do that.... first good placed mine can surprise even skilled pilots.... but almost nobody eats the second one... so 1 or 2-3 is a huge difference.

Not to mention that you need some 4 mines to blow off Inferno/Mini/Supernova.

Sorry but this whole thread/idea... seems to me like people simply saying:

"I don't want my ship insta-killed... so make it immune to missiles/mines because I cannot use them."

All vanilla ships have better agility and other stats... changing them to non-wireframe would mean that they would need to be made worse!

This vulnerability to mines/missiles makes for much wider choice of tactics in fight.....fighting a non-vanilla ship is actually quite boring without it.... If all ships are non-vanilla it would definitely be needed to decrease bats/bots.

I would like to see all fighzters that vunerable to mines and missiles...would make fights faster...

Pfeewwww... Care to make new hitboxes for ALL newly-added ships?

There's been a discussion about this when the flak problem appeared (or just got noticed)

Anywayz - Perhaps apart from going all mk II, ships like Stilettos, falcons, Valkyries and such should all get their stats updated to match what is presently in use. I doubt Liberty navy would still be using antiquated defenders, hopelessly outclassed by any VHF they have.

Yes, the current HFs need to be palatable again. Armor and guns need a decent boost so they can take on their heavier and lighter cousins. As for the Vanilla VHFs, I'm sort of tempted...but I don't think so. The Titan just needs a load more armor, and the Saber should become more agile. Also...

MAKE MISSILES WORTH SOMETHING AGAIN.

Sorry, but no.
It's already a very agile ship for a VHF, upping it's agility more would make it too strong.
And it wouldn't be a VHF, it would be an LF (it's almost agile as the Scimittar, just bigger).
I fly it, so no, i'm not complaining only because I'm being "pwned" by Sabres.

Titan needs a boost, Sabre doesn't.

I voted no. It's only the fault of the non-vanilla shipbuilders for not building their ships properly. (I'm aware how hard it is, though)

I don't know why, but I don't like the idea of messing with vanilla ships just to activate a glitch that makes them more powerful. Discovery is already getting messy and this idea isn't really helping.

Don't use the word 'Fault' there, buddy. Nobody can build a hitbox that well; custom .surs with multiple parts aren't even feasible. Even a one-piece sur is pure hell.

Hence the "(I'm aware how hard it is)" thing. I know that it's hell to make hitboxes and wireframes for non-vanilla ships, but I guess if this mod didn't have non-vanilla ships we wouldn't need to have this thread.
