Thats completely unnecessary, these DPC idiots have not been hacking that long!

If you go and rollback months and ppls loose billions in equipment and work, you will kill this community as no one will want to start from nothing again.

The admin would not be able to refund any chars lost to genuine players as the player base is endless so everyone will leave.

Maybe you dont mind loosing billions but I do so NO

So basically there's 2 options:
1.admins track items/money that have been spawn in game by DPC and remove them one by one
2.they just restore a backup
option 1 will make admins lose their time,option 2 will make players lose their time,but the thing is admins sign up for putting time into solving this kind of issues so i'll "vote" for/like option 1
*plus option 2 isn't gonna solve the cheating problem and we can't restore a backup every time is happening,because it's bound to happen again and for the looks of it soon after restore..

Thing is, it's not just a couple of things that were cheated. It's a boat load. And it isn't just a handful of people either, the cheated items spread through the server. The admins are already sifting through the logs to track the cheated items down, but it ain't easy, it ain't fast, and it sure ain't simple.

Therefore, just calm down, there's a chance the rollback won't happen; it has *not* been announced and it isn't the first item on the "how-to-solve-this-problem" list.

So again: relax, go play the game. Or don't if you are worried about losing what progress you will make.

What were the "recent" issues? I can only think of issues that have been around for ages.

On the other topic Im against SRPs, I say free for all bases, with IFFs, so enemy NPCs attack them, meaning you cant build one too close to an enemy settlement. And make them easier to build and destroy.

SRP just promotes elitism, favouritism, and conspiracy theories about said.

Same here ... make bases free for all, admins know, 20 % of the base owners speak bad english and a SRP would be impossible. So they wouldnt do anymore even a forum post ... cuz they know then its senseless build the base just 600 k away from a gate and jump your transports from here to there ...

Dude this is a RP server that requires common skill of using english. Sure, there are still some who aren't able to speak/write/understand it that well, but there is still an option to teamup some other players who are able to.
