Yea, I'm more of the feeling that it should be a "you take care of your's, we'll take care of our." Type of relationship, but I think it will be alot of fun to RP it out.
Taiidan bomber? I understand Civilian bomber sucks hard, but I'v heard it's gonna be boosted in the next version..
So, when it does, will you ditch the Taiidan? It really isn't 'Xenoish'.
Also, I strongly recommend that you forbid financing from the side.
You should earn all your money by yourselves.
I mean, it's okay to have something for a start on your bank, for new recruits.
But later, you should be financed by your doings, or you can have 'Liberty corporations' financing you.
That means Tagged and ID-ed trader. As far as I remember, [IND] is using Trader ID.
So, they aren't really a 'Liberty corporation'. They only use the Interspace tag.
Don't really have time to read the rest of this, but Chopper has the right Idea:
GMG ships are that, GMG, not civilian. I know some people like to think that a mining guild means they are civilians but I just don't agree. I mean, they defeated the Reinland Military...

Please refer to post #40 when your schedule clears up some.
The quality of the post shows how much effort and discussion has gone into what is the "poison chalice" of factions.
Luckily it has been taken up by people who have consistently promoted the RP of Xenos rather than the "shoot anything" type of players.
Congrats too to Igiss in making the Xenos actually one of the least attractive factions for the hardcore PVP player... because it is now an interesting and supported RP concept.

Xoria: The Hawk was removed because the Starblazer is the last member of the star line, and really should be the ship being flown instead of the Hawk by NPCs, the Blazer wasn't around in Vanilla, so it isn't the one flown, which is a shame.
The Colorado Blazers, my wing was originaly a joke that I posted in the Flood section. Me and about four other people flew Xeno blazers and got into trouble fighting VHFs, and occasionaly winning. It's now being implimented as a training wing, to make sure we can trust a member before granting them a heavier fighter that they could run amok in and screw our rep with. Just a precaution really. A bit like the Hacker dagger method. It'll also be used as an event wing. With the hackers daggers, the rogues bloodhounds and our starblazers, I hope there will be a few decent LF fights spontaniously appearing. Lookin' forward to whatever may come!
Starblazers vs Daggers?:)
Yeah right, if we mount armor upgrade VIII's and you mount only class 4 guns:lol:
Anyway, on a serious note, I like the 'star line' better.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
