The problem with this is it supports not learning English, since the players who can't speak English can read all the guides and play without knowing English. Are there any players that currently do that? Yes. That doesn't mean it should be supported or encouraged. There are lots of players that take people that speak other languages under their wing and help them understand the rules and how to play, but it's with the focus of being able to roleplay in English.
I can see how that might make sense, but would you rather have those kind of people, or people who don't know english and roleplay AND the rules?

Not really, the idea is to make sure a non english speaker is able to understand the rules.... but can also be extended to some tutorials about rping in elglish, pretty much a conversation phrase guide, some sentences to stablish a basic rp... believe me if i say that those kind of "tutorials" makes miracles, if the player is interested will put effort on going further...
1. Player who isn't literate in English but understands rules yet wishes to obtain knowledge beyond them and having access to native language guides/FAQ.
2. Player who isn't literate in English and understand rules yet wishes to obtain knowledge beyond them but having no access to native language guides/FAQ.
I am pretty sure that player able to obtain knowledge even in his native language is more productive member than player unable to gain such knowledge.

Well, thats correct.
It couldnt hurt anybody, if those players will be available to get some basic informations, and at the end of the road, they could realise, that playing here as a roleplayer worth the effort to learn english.

What's better:
1. Restricting ourselves to two options to chose from, like the community wouldn't have formed out of a third one.
2. Noticing that there is a third category, the player who is capable to understand and speak English to an extent required by server/forum rules, and choose that option.
I'm not trying to brag about managing to learn English and develop writing skills to the level you are currently experiencing from me as a non-native speaker... but I kinda did. And I think that is the least to do for the enjoyment of both the community, and the individual in question. Honestly, if I couldn't speak or understand English, I either break my bones to learn it or wouln't be here, because I simply wouldn't enjoy the whole without understanding anything. Yes, both parties gain if everybody, who want to be part of this community, takes the time and effort to learn English, just like everybody else did so far (besides native speakers).
The majority of players are already literate and they wouldn't benefit from native-language guides on personal level thus they, or rather we, shouldn't be concerned about it. What I was trying to point put that we should welcome players who are willing to put effort into becoming more productive without discriminating them for their lack of good English skills.
I never had problems regarding gaming ever since I learned English myself, but I have seen many players in various games unable to raise beyond beginner level due to lack of accessible knowledge base in their known languages.
Give people a chance for the sake of all of us. Angels are not always online to talk with people in foreign languages. If we allow such help ingame, why not extend it to foreign language guides?

Dude, a language barrier is not something like black skin to be an obstacle merely through discrimination, it is an obstacle in communication, in the flow and interpretation of information. We won't understand eachother better simply because we grow more tolerant to eachother, but because we start to speak a language we both comprehend and understand. I expected you to be aware of that.
