Hello, Gentlemen!
First of all, let me congratulate you all for fine work over the past days and weeks. We have established HGL as a credible and respectable company in Bretonia and throughout Sirius, and I thank you all for that. Well done!
Mr. Dee, a fine day's work. Mr. Fremont, thank you for escorting Mr. Nune during his first day on the job. He, Mr. Constantine, and I traded last evening for a while; it was a pleasant journey, with the exception if a pirate incident in Los Angeles.
Mr. Koch, thank you for responding to Mr. Moore's offer regarding a potential contract. I'm hoping that situation will work out well for us. To the rest of you, please familiarize yourselves with that situation:
I would like as many of us as possible to be available for this contract. Meanwhile, I'm attempting to address the need for escorts if that contract goes through.
To those of you who help new employees get set up, please keep track of what funds you give to them, so that we have some record of (1) fulfilling our promise to new pilots and (2) what you might need to be reimbursed for. I do very much appreciate those of you who have helped out in this regard.
Have a good day, Gentlemen, and safe travels to you all.

Howdy, the names Hector Norweb and I am an indepedent freighter. My business has recently undergone an expansion following some business advice some fancy-talking business school man. Cost me a packet that advice too, but he also said that'n I should get in contact with other companies and offer me services. Which brings me to why I'm here.
I'd was hoping y'all would consider me if you ever find yourself a bit short of haulage space. I just expanded my shipping capacity with the acquisition of a....what is it called now.
"Louie, HEY LOUIE, WHAT WAS THE CLASS OF FREIGHTER WE BOUGHT?"
Sorry about that, the expansion caused a fair bit of paperwork, and I'm still catching up with it! Anyway, the ships a Percheron, fresh out the shipyard. Got my nephew as the captain, nice kid but a little slow if you catch my drift! My plan for this ship is o have it solely making inter-house bulk deliveries, nothing too special.
My speciality, however, is that my personal ship, the Iron Helix, is for those smaller quantities needed in a hurry, discreetly and in potentially hostile areas. Don't get me wrong, I ain't no smuggler, but with politics in Sirius the way they are, sometimes a company needs something that another house has, but can't get at it because of closed borders. This is where I come in. I can slip my small independent transport in or round blockades to acquire the necessary commodities, no nasty battles, no unwanted negative publicity, no hassle.
I'm not suggesting a merger, nosiree, just hoping you can keep me mind should you ever have yourselves a logistics situation where your short a ship.
If it sounds like we can do business, please respond to this frequency.
See ya around

((Just want to point out I have a Percheron as well by coincidence, it just happened to be the best freighter I could afford when I went to get one today, not trying to copy you! :D))

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CEO
To All HGL Employees:
Please note the potential contract we are currently working on //(see "Trader Event" thread in yesterday's post)//. I would ask all employees who could participate in this event to please report in their availability ASAP. We need to let our potential client know what resources we might have to put toward the contract.

To All HGL Employees:
Tonight I provided security coverage to ships Trafalgar and Gibraltor. Our route included beryllium from Kensington to Pueblo Station, passengers from Manhattan to Nuremburg, and diamonds from Bautzen to Leeds.
Only incident was an encounter with a lane-hacker pirate in Cortez. Trafalgar and I in the lead had made the transition to the next jump gate, but Gibraltor had a bit of lag. The pirate engaged Gibraltor at that point. I circled back and returned to Gibraltor's location requesting the pirate to disengage the encounter with Gibraltor or serious consequences would ensue. After a few tense moments, the pirate realized that the Eagle outclassed his ship and he moved off. Gibraltor and I rejoined Trafalgar with no further incident.

Greetings mates,
You might have noticed that I was lately very busy with my ADTO tasks. Yesterday, I finally decided to hire an assistant, in order to delegate part of my tasks to him.
His callsign is Buffalo.Jim, and though he is by no way part of HGL, you might still want to greet him if ever you meet him. He will basically help me with prices comparison and gathering of rumors, domain in which he is one of the best.
After briefing my new assistant, I finally had the pleasure to trade again, which I hadn't done for the last two weeks. I joined Herr Koch and his train, and we shipped Boron from Manhattan to LD-14, for a benefits of more than 3 mils. Then, Mister Koch went to welcome a new recruit, Jack, Captain of the Wolverhampton, while I landed to have a full check up of my ship.
I should be able to fly again tomorrow, and will meet you guys with a great pleasure.

'Ello Chaps!
Yestereve was quite a fine day. I was informed by Mr. Koch that our newest member,a Mr. Jack Pullman in the Wolverhampton, was prepared for his first trade run under our colors. I flew down from LD-14 to Leeds to escort him on his maiden voyage in his new Percheron, but it seemed that something had come up, and he was forced to land and take care of it.
I then contacted Mr. Granger, and asked if I was able to upgrade my weapons loadout to Bretonian Military Grade weapons, which he said I could. I now use the following:
4x Ultra Sunrail
2x Imp. Debilitators
Ditto the last report.
I am looking forward to my future outfitting, but would like to ask our policies on Light Fighters. If I could, I would very much like to fly such a Light Fighter instead of my current Eagle. It is a fine ship, but in my days at the Civilian Flight Academy on Leeds, that is primarily what we flew, and I miss the maneuverability.
Another good day with good company!

Greetings All!
I hope this message finds you all well. This is a busy time of year, and I know some are not able to fly as often as they would like. I just want you to know that we still appreciate your work for HGL, and we will be happy to see you whenever you're in space.
I have a few important announcements:
1. Mr. John Granger has retired from the post of Director of Security Operations. I am sorry to see him go, but he assures me he will be keeping track of our company's progress. I'll be publicly announcing the open DSO position soon.
2. A hearty "Well Done" to Mr. Gunther Koch and Mr. Duncan Idaho for their extensive and ongoing work in researching trade routes. Their efforts are much appreciated. Thanks, also, to Mr. Koch for his assistance in setting up our newest employee, Capt. Jack Pullman of the Wolverhampton. Welcome to the company, Mr. Pullman!
3. Last but not least, Highland-Gateway is now establishing a Board of Directors. The Board will not oversee day-to-day operations of the company, which will continue to be under the oversight of the DTO, DSO, and CEO, but will assist with the strategic vision of the company - setting our overall direction and helping to make macro-level decisions. Their responsibilities include a monthly investment contribution to the company, which serves to assist the setting up of new employees* and to meet more general company needs. Any employee - or non-employee - of HGL is welcome to join the BoD, provided s/he commit to the monthly contribution and be voted in by the existing Board.
Current members of the Board of Directors include Mr. Gunther Koch, Mr. Kenneth Constantine, and myself as chair.
*Assistance with new employees in no way should take away from our primary method, co-worker contributions. It is essential that we work together on equipping new employees, so that each one knows his/her coworkers have contributed to his/her own success.
4. I will soon be making a public announcement detailing the progress of our company as well as our current position openings.
As always, if you have any questions, please let me know (via PM).
Thanks to each of you for being an important part of our company, journeying together toward a brighter future.
Yours in service,
Sir Alisdair Buchanan
CEO and Chair
