Are you sure? When Nomad ID was introduced, it was stated in announcement that players with this ID are allowed to engage without RP (although it´s discouraged).

Yep. The worst has happened, we’ve provided for another open engagement ID. That’s right, fire away, no roleplay is required, although it certainly is encouraged. The Order, and BHG Core also have corresponding lines in their IDs, so give those a look too when you have a moment. These three are designed to fit together in a way that will, hopefully, allow for a more full realization of just how dangerous the Omicrons can be. Order and Core, I hope you guys are up for some action, after which you’ll be in range to shoot each other. What’s not to like?

All except in Alpha and Gamma, though. Nomad ID bearing players must meet the roleplay requirements established by the rules in at least these two systems.

Nomads aren't terrorists, they're aliens...and it's within their RP to not necessarily communicate, since, you know...they're ALIENS.

Sure, it´s just that you wrote that "Server Rules still apply to all IDs" but the obligatory pre-engagement RP part of rules in fact doesn´t apply to Nomad and K´Hara IDs. So I was just correcting this little inaccuracy.

The problem is in current for K'hara and Nomad ID line is not that clear, because it doesn't define 100% if you can engage without RP or not.

Both lines do not state that RP is not obligatory, it is just a differently constructed "Can attack X, Y, Z" in the meaning of the line.

Consider: Another craft enters your vision. You scan said craft and see that it is friendly towards you. Reputation is good, there should be no problems sliding by.

UT OH, said other craft is carrying a terrorist ID. Hmm, while I'm off reading the forums to verify if said craft is something to worry about, other craft, hiding behind it's friendly reputation, is issuing ultimatums and demands.

Carrying a terrorist ID with friendly reputation - I shouldn't have to go and check on your SRP to verify if you're abiding by your ID.

Then again, a Nomad player can describe some "visuals" that hint at upcoming aggression. I'd argue that in a lot of the cases that feels a lot more natural than the telepathic "I AM AN ANGRY NOMAD I KEEL U" stuff. It's basically silently engaging while warning the enemy player "fairly" and playing by the rules (ignoring poorly documented rule exceptions for Nomads).

No RP needed if you go by ID but I always have a little chat on my terrorist char before pvp just to be sure
