'Ello lads,
Today I escorted Mr. Idaho in the Londonderry to Planet Manhattan with a load of Luxury Foods with absolutely no mishaps. I am also fully outfitted in a Tiger Shark Light Fighter. A gift from the IMG down at Freistadt. I'll be sure to thank them for it extensively next time I visit the base.
Quite uneventful,
~Douglas Fremont

Gentlemen,
Mr. Jonas Nune, captain of the Temeraire, has notified me of his resignation effective immediately for personal reasons. While we did not long have the pleasure of his company, he did prove an asset to the company.
As I told him personally, we will keep his ship ready should he ever return.

Today, I have released two major announcements to the public in Sirius. The first is a public statement of our values and a description of our current operations. We hope this will help familiarize the company to people throughout the sector.
Also, we have begun a recruitment campaign. If you meet anyone in space who might be interested in working for HGL, send them to our comm system (here), or to the following link:

Gentlemen,
An excellent run today! The Exeter, Exmouth, and I in the Trafalgar took beryllium to Dortmund. We then proceeded to Bautzen in Dresden for diamonds. Pirates were in the area, but none came near us.
However, jumping back into New Berlin from Dresden, we were halted by two Hessian pirates near Brandenburg. They demanded 1 mil from each of us, and I was in the process of asking them why they felt they deserved such - given their evident and brazen sense of entitlement - when a "Mr. Thirsty" suddenly came to our assistance, attacking the two pirates. Between his assistance and our turrets, the pirates were held off long enough for us to escape. Mr. Thirsty's ship was unfortunately destroyed in the process.
I have promised him a 5 million credit reward for his selfless act of assistance. Any HGL employee may pay him, and I will reimburse you. Once you pay, however, please report here so we know it has been taken care of.
Mr. Constantine and I have just returned to Kensington to retire. Mr. Dee of the Gibraltar joined us as we were nearing Leeds to unload the diamonds, and he and Mr. Gilroy have left for another run.
All in all, a good day for us, gentlemen. Well done!

The Gibraltar, my proud Percheron, has been given back to HGL for a lucky new employee. Now, I am flying a Large Train, designated Gibraltar (aren't I original?). It took a while to pay off the hefty repayments for this ship, but it's a beauty. Sleek looks, massive cargo space and sufficient firepower make it a great buy. A tip to all Highland-Gateway employees, if you want to trade in style, use a Large Train.
Today I hauled two major shipments of raw minerals to Bretonnia and Liberty. After loading up crates of Beryllium from Kensington (those crates are damn heavy), I hopped into the Gibraltar and launched.
I engaged cruise engines and left for Cortez.
At Cortez, I docked with Planet Curacao for a short rest break (can't fall asleep at the interface panel). I soon left through the nearby jump gate to California. Pueblo Station was only a few systems away, so I arrived there in short time.
The run netted me a whopping 4,977,000 credits. The soaring prices of Beryllium worked in my favour... I must thank the IMG for supplying us with so much Beryllium.
On the way back to Bretonnia, dock workers on Planet Manhattan filled the Gibraltar's cargo pods with Boron. Utilising the same waypoints as before, I proceeded via autopilot to Kensington Shipping Platform. I continued onwards to Leeds, then to LD-14. Thankfully the separatist Molly had decided not to attack the station, as there were no hostiles in the area. A successful run, as HGL made 5,400,000 credits.
I would be ready for more runs, but I am resting on Leeds at the moment. Getting your feet on solid ground helps a lot (especially with the stress levels).

Had an excellent trip in the Trafalgar yesterday. I had planned a Liberty-Rheinland-Bretonia route, but due to demands back at Kensington, simply ran a load of beryllium to Pueblo, and then boron back to LD-14.
On the way, I happened upon a fine young Mandalorian, Carud'se Solegot, in Cortez. I engaged him as my escort, and we flew the rest of the route without incident, all the way back to Kensington again.
The Mandalorians have proved themselves courteous and helpful on multiple occasions, so I encourage hiring them for protection whenever one of our own escorts is unavailable.
