not to sound cheesy, or give you reason to swear, but there are other ways to taunt your ingame enemies, without swearing. its just a matter of what words you use, and howyou use em. (also, im on a useless school comp,which doesnt havea space bar in teh keyboard. so if i miss the space bars, dontmind me x.x )

Yeah, or let's kill those losers. Loser is a common known word for a Red Hessian member of RHA. I mean, it's in their genes and behaviour and it emits itself trough the combat display. I mean honestly.. *grin*

Actually, there are numerous incidences where swearing is used in a humorous intent. The brilliant scottish comedian Billy Connolly is famous for it. Also, it can often be used as an exclamation of surprise, sometimes indicating when someone has a serious stroke of luck and they say "f**k me, that was close! I nearly died there!"
While swearing isn't generally necessary, it is useful and straight to the point.

Not entering in fact in the point that the word 'honey' can be used in the most pure sarcasm way and that will be caracterized as bad word even thought is not (btw, in my country, if proper spelled, the word 'grape' is a 'bad' word)
I dont se any problem of using bad words inside RP. It's just your character afterall

The problem is that in RP, you are right. However, would you call a thirteen-year-old a whore (just an example) and whatnot to their face? Uh, that's a no-no, so as in-RP as such things might be, RL > FL.
no, allthough i guess a 13 years old won t be as offended by that as a 30 years old. - however, we call people on the forum "cap whores" or "pvp whores" all the time.... and some people do feel addressed by that. - yet its widely accepted.
how does the 13 yo feel being called a capital whore. - to be honest, prolly not much different to being called a whore ingame.
but thats again all about what you grew up with.
for example, i don t give a damn if people insult my parents. they can call my mother a bitch and my father a bastard. - no prob with that. - i know that whoever says that hasn t got a clue who my parents are and mostly wouldn t have the guts ( or a reason ) to stand up to them and call them this into their very face. - so why bother.
yet, there are people that are highly offended when you insult their parents. and there are people - ( like some 13 yo ) that do not know that talking about others parents is a great insult to others.
all in all, the discussion about swearing is rather pointless. - i know that it has to start somewhere, but - really, i am sure i can make someone feel much worse by talking to him nicely and politely in the best oxford english, by just patronising him than just swear a few words.
swear words are overrated as a whole. - really insulting stuff that hurts comes much more sublte.
