' Wrote:The point is that this mentality is fine as long as you follow the logical implications- the Order Guard *should* kill you if they can catch you, not just the players. So, if you make it through a hostile Omicron-100, good job. Your RP for using the route may be suspect, but at least you adhered to the general idea.
If you aren't hostile, however, you're against server rules, and your reputation is likely to be fixed at admin price.
As for stone, sorry, I must have misread- from Tenacity's posts, it sounded like the NPCs weren't firing on you.
I apologies too, I overreacted I posted it 3 time just got me a little hot under the collar.

And a pirate should get blasted top bits by an NPC, and a gunboat shouldn't be able to kill an npc BS, two cruisers and two heavy fighters and go sell the crew.
Change it all (which will make everyones role near impossible when tradelane guns kill pirate GB's in two shots etc...) or stop complaining because your factions NPC's are only as good as everyone elses.
Nerf the carti run, the diamond run, the berylium/boron run, and then what? Then there won't be transports where you can sit and wait for them, which might not be a bad thing but it will be a radical change to gameplay that I doubt you have thought out.
Listen Akumabito, I think you misunderstood what I meant- the Order Guard should try and kill you if they catch you. Whether they do or not depends on your ship, equipment, and skill level. I didn't think I was whining.
He tried to get a faction started that consisted of nothing but capships, from all sources, working together... The guy doesnt have a clue about how things are run here.
And i'm beginning to think the same of yourself - what smuggler in his right mind would try to move 5000 pounds of cocaine through three military checkpoints IRL? That's what you're doing - moving 5000 units of cardamine through three very heavily guarded military systems.
Anyone following that route should be considered OORP just for that.
You obviously don't know very much about militarys, drugs are smuggled threw the military and military zones all the time. Ever heard of Vietnam or Afghani heroin?? the point is smugglers go where there not suppose to plain and simple.

I changed the whining to complaining before I read yours, the out and out insults I have gotten since day one have me at almost the level of a faction leader:)and I apologize for that.
So do you agree with me that it's OK to use any route you can get away with, or not?

You might get away with it if you smuggled in smaller quantities - mixing the cardi with pharmeceuticals or something similar... but you're carrying what equates to a dumptruck full of pure drugs through an area where you will be scanned by dozens of military npcs. There is no way to hide that cargo.
It's the same deal with all the idiot powertraders taking 5000 units of cardamine or artifacts straight to planet manhattan. Do you really think you would be able to make it through an entire system of police, LSF, and navy ships without being stopped before you managed to get to the capital planet of the house?
Use some common sense. Smugglers should be steering clear of military patrols, not cruising right through the middle of them.

No one is trying to hide it, their are using the equivalent tactic fast boats and planes do, keep one step ahaead of the guns.

My smugglers RP has a deathwish so whats wrong with that.. And you are wrong when the Taliban smuggle heroin the use like 50 donkeys= to a dump truck of heroin. The Medline cartel used a soviet sub or a passenger plains.
And as far as bringing drugs to Manhattan it has the bigest demand of any planet so obviously some one is bringing it there. Yes i was wrong about docking after officials closed the gate so i stoped bringing cardamine to NY ut im not wrong about gurd systems so.. you can just forget about it.
