I think what Akumabito's complaining about is, nobody likes him enough to spare him their bots.
Hence, it's unfair, oorp, ooc, a dirty tactic, and suppresses his freedom.
Vessel A establishes computer uplink with vessel B for purposes of transferring nanobots and shield batteries.
At this point weapons are taken offline for both vessels in order to reserve the necessary processing power and energy required for the task.
Bots and Bats are requisitioned for the transfer and are moved from their superclean chambers to the airlock.
Once the material supplies are in place shields are harmonized and a special low intensity tractor link is established, automatically transferring the materials from vessel A to vessel B.
Once the transfer is complete, the computer link is severed and weapons are brought back online.
Now, back to issue, the practice is cheap when fighters feed their batts and botts to another fighter to give him an advantage over an opponent they outnumber, it is a pvp tactic, not a rping one even if you can rp it like you could rp an F1.
A repair ship is a different animal. It's specifically built to repair ships. Your fighter isn'y specifically built to repair other fighters.
OMG Akumabito we traded bots and bats, amazing!
and you didn't! AMAZING
Here's a tip, for free even!
Use this ban to actually go out and try to have fun there, maybe you'll even score some and realize this ban came as a great reward.
If you have found a love of your life already and he/she is whining tolerant enough to stay with you maybe you should use this time you're not allowed in the game to thank them for it.
If you however have children, I suggest you stay away from them at least until you drop the "nobody is fair, people have grudge" attitude and come to your senses.
EDIT:
OMG DUDE JUST GIVE IT A REST. YOUR THEORY ISN'T VALID, DUSTY OFFERED AN PERFECTLY GOOD RP EXPLANATION, SO DID I. Why am I arguing here.. I think I'll start insulting you on personal level.
Anyone who can actually manage to trade botts and batts in a fight is fine by me and welcome to marry my sister. No way should it be disallowed, simply because it took me so long to learn how to do it while half the KNF were breathing down my neck. PLUS its just one of those things thats impossible to enforce or regulate.
And its not really trade, cause i have NEVER paid for them. Although it could be a mean trick to pull next time...
"Hey Brinkley, I'm out. Spare some bbs?"
"Sure."
"Um, click accept, mate."
"As soon as you hand over the 20 million creds, old chap."
Secret of a good long care free life is agreeing with me all the time. Feel crowded sometimes even when you're alone? Thats right, thats my ego stretching all the way to there.
But that has no point whatsoever with you creating 15 different topics and trying to undermine the society that works hard to implement rules that will better the future. If you expect to be respected, learn to respect first.
So unless you have a valid argument and not that f1 jump hole crappola (i can't swear and use the word poo here is an insult to poo), I suggest you don't post anymore on the topic.
How about we all be nice and leave this thread? Trading bats and bots are not against the rules.. so.. let's all move on elsewhere. We're not here to discuss the validity of certain RP scenarios. Oh, look! A monkey! Everyone chase!
Fairness across the board: All can share bots and bats fairly.
Huzzah!
It doesn't create resources, it simply re-distributes the resources of the engaging party across the whole. There is no argument here in regards to balance. Where one pilot now has his ability to regenerate replenished another has said ability reduced.
Sharing the resources temporarily takes two pilots out of the fight.
Sharing the resources temporarily reduces the effectiveness of the pilots involved.
Temporary jump hole generators are a perfectly valid game mechanic and every ship is equipped with one, however it sure does cost a pretty penny to use. Lulzpwnt.
Edit: Capt. Poo wins again.
Double Edit: Posting in an Aku thread.
Triple Edit: I recall with fondness a time where my Junker encountered a Liberty Gunboat being seiged by a pair of keepers. He pleaded with me to send over a few bots/bats to keep him in one piece, I offered to do so with a smile and a wave should he hand over the Junkers in his hold. Now that was a good time!
