No, he did not. The only screenies provided were those of a rather sarcastic comment I made following the faction leaders comments on this forum that indies in cap ships were bad rp'rs and pvp whores.

Now, I admit my sarcasm was misplaced, but but anyone who claims that they prove I selected the ship for pvp is lying through their teeth.

So that the independents can choose to be different from their parent faction, it might not be huge difference but it makes the server more dynamic and alive. Being able to RP a different ship choice isn't bad, if you don't wish to RP your ship choice then you just follow the chart and pick a green ship. If you do you can figure out how much effort you will need. What's up with that? Those that want, can. Those that don't, won't.

Plus only quoting that single line from Unselies post, is deliberately misrepresenting her point. There was much more to it than that simple sentiment. In fact that sentiment as it's represented there was not intended as such and does not come out as such in the context of the original quote. Please modify it so that you are not slandering someone who has earned her respect on this forum the hard way.

If he says those screens prove I chose the ship for PvP he is a liar. If he did not say they proved that he is not, it's that simple.

And we can certainly get to the truth of it, but we both know that the truth, in this case, would be inconvenient for the factions and admins who are intentionally (even if it's just by not being willing to get to the truth) misrepresenting those screenies.

So how about it? You want to get to the truth, or you want to leave it at this where the lack of truth serves you. Your choice here will say a lot about the character of factions and of yourself.

It could be, although the difference is slight between the two, that's where the judgement of the Admins comes in.

Say a player leaves a Bretonia faction because his faction leader said and he just wasn't comfortable with having leadership that espoused those views.

Lets say he also had a bretonia BS, but now all that time invested was pretty much useless in Bretonia, so he decides to make it a BD battleship instead, so he gets the tag, the ID, and works on getting the cash togather, cash that will take weeks.

While he's doing that, and this is important because it shows if this is just a circumstance he is working out because of his disaffiliation with the faction and it's ZOI, he isn't out attacking people in it.

Now, that's a lot different than intentionally RPing to get a better ship with the purpose of PvP. If the guy was doing that he'd likely have one of the monster ships, a Rhiendland ship for instance.

And, the rules allow oorp ship combos if you are working on fixing them. Rule 6.22, the last sentence.

That's why admin who are actually willing to listen to all sides of an incident rather than just siding with a faction with a grudge make for a fairer and less contentious server.
