I still fail to see some incredible RP done around Goldgheist also.

See, this is why the "roleplay" on this game dissapoints me sometimes, its like you put the world "roleplay" in big letters like some sort of warning. Like it is some sort of non-official rule that you have to write a wall text to justify its existance. Its disgusting.

It was a ore depot, what other roleplay than "I MAKE ROCK" can you make out of it?

Seriously, if you have never used the Goldgeist, then i dont know what the hell are you talking about.

... and next time, should you decide to build a POB, build it in a more secure place and care to protect it with weapon platforms. Markam gave a good point - there are plenty of POBs in New London that are 1 jump away and are secure from sieges.

Make no mistake, the both POBs in New London next to the Dublin Jumpgate are probably next on the list.

I mean, what is happening is perfectly inRP. I just like how you try to imply that Gallic Roaylists can tolerate or negotiate with POB that is having BMM- in its name. Paddy, you are the one who started to contact attacking parties without actually being notified inRP about the attack. And us NOT sieging it would be out of character, I don't know if you are ware, but there's a state of war between Gallic Royalists and Bretonia.

You see only positive sides of all those POBs around, but with POB spam that happened in the system during the recent years it's actually not as great for everyone. There are also negative impacts on unlawful activities since a number of POBs was very close to the mining zone, lonely mining and shipping without actually interacting with anyone. You may also imply that sieging bases require no effort while it's a lot of dedication and work in terms of coordination from a lot of players.

It is inRP, I have never disputed that.
I was never notified inRP correct. If I put out an RP'd APB on forums for help because the Enclave is attacking, then I am metagaming.
I am not taking things personally.

Or, maybe this group of players DOES see the full picture, but this picture is different from yours? Nobody in this community owes anything to others. You or some other people benefiting from the POB does not mean it should be safe from any attacks on the basis of that benefit, especially if no rules are violated.

On a side note, I remember at least two times that Paddy's POBs, both in Dublin, caused similar drama. Maybe, it is time to incur some lessons from the situation and place a POB or take one under your administration in a different spot? As Vaas in Facrcry 3 said: "Insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over again expecting a different results". Sapienti sat.

Hypocrisy is not a good thing. You're not better or worse than others. You just another player. I cannot get why you sh*t so much because of one of your pobs was destroyed.

I would just state my opinion, I think the problem with large PoB getting destroyed is by your fault, You can easily defend your base with help with allies, Weapons platform, Bounty hunters.
Besides, PoBs are the only thing we can RP about. An example of the destruction of BMM goldeist. Bretonia Economy is crushing in time. The game loses the RP material and becomes a PVP shooter game.
Moreover, Making Gms watch these PoB or whatever you wish just wastes their time and stupid. it also makes the faction overpowered cause we can't make it weaker or fight it.
But this is only my opinion.

Should I remind that Freelancer was made exactly as a shooter, not text quest? Yes, RP is good but cannot change the very context of the game.
