Hypocrisy is not a good thing. You're not better or worse than others. You just another player. I cannot get why you sh*t so much because of one of your pobs was destroyed.

I would just state my opinion, I think the problem with large PoB getting destroyed is by your fault, You can easily defend your base with help with allies, Weapons platform, Bounty hunters.
Besides, PoBs are the only thing we can RP about. An example of the destruction of BMM goldeist. Bretonia Economy is crushing in time. The game loses the RP material and becomes a PVP shooter game.
Moreover, Making Gms watch these PoB or whatever you wish just wastes their time and stupid. it also makes the faction overpowered cause we can't make it weaker or fight it.
But this is only my opinion.

Yes, defence platforms would aid but not have stopped the destruction. Bear in mind that Bretonia would only have allowed 2 defence platforms (I think).

I think I am right on this but I believe I can not RP for help unless I engaged in metagaming. (St Denis can set me right on this). How am I supposed to know what goes on in the Enclave communications? As it was the attack declaration (which you cannot use to justify calling for help - metagaming again) comes at the wrong time for me and I could do precious little until the attack came.

1. What RP did you expect? You say so often that we have "Bad RP".

2. Personally, I do not like the name, location and how it is rotated.

3. This is just a game, and you should relate to it in a lighter way.

4. I will consider that your 2 years of investment, if you did not receive profit from your base, then this is your fault and problems. If you properly administer the database, then you should have made a profit from it, and not just be a place for import - export.

So, Core 3 PoB is created in 1.5 months, your 2 years are thrown to nothing. Double this time if you do not have the same time as other players.
Maybe I wish evil for Bretonia, but this is only inRP. As a person, I am neutral to this house.

Can people just put their arguments in a civil manner without resorting to getting personal, please?

Once you start getting personal any valid points,you make, generally get ignored. This also includes quoting other people's personal attacks.

Just something as food for thought:
Those people who complain (get angry) about getting ganked or how their 'snub' was killed in brawl by a Cap ship, you only lose 1 hour (or 30 minutes in a 'Contested System') of not being able to play in that 1 System. Your ship is still there and all you lose is some consumables.

Those Players that lose a POB, that they have vested months/years of time in, don't get it back. They lose all that time and effort and anything that was stored on that Base. So, maybe you can, possibly, understand how angry they feel.

This Game needs all types of Players (PvPers, Rpers, Traders, Base Builders, Miners etc), it is what makes this Game different from a lot of others. If you take away people wanting to do the different Groups, you will lose a swathe of the Community.

Some want this just as a 'Shooter Game', I believe some of the other Servers went down that avenue. Where are they now?

Other servers are dead. This server is alive because it mixed all the types of player around. Even doing minimal RP required for engagement is better than getting silently engaged by some random. Thus, I don't think the entire thread has a point to exist and just a cup, full of tears. If you want to defend POB - gather people, log, and defend or die with honour, instead of whining and offering stupid rules change just to protect POBs as it's already done with 4.7 by whiny traders.

The Enclave's POB sieges are legit. They are made for RP reasons. I don't like how they are avoiding combat by besieging at times when everyone is asleep or just running away when opposition comes, but there's nothing essentially wrong with the actual idea that they should besiege POBs in Dublin, as that is their role and they are playing it.

What is very wrong are the POB sieges made against Xenon, the player. This is something that everyone knows is happening, yet everyone seems to be alright with for some reason. A "public secret". Besieging a POB only because it belongs to a certain player is both metagaming and cyber-bullying, and I don't know why the GMs haven't done anything about it. Maybe they all got frightened by the consequences of the Heavy Decision and are now close to useless. Maybe they don't want to grow a spine in fear from Kaze ripping it out, as he seems to like doing. Abstention from voting is cancer.

I'd like to ask you as a sieger
What do you think about making the time between attack declaration and attack time longer so the owner can have time to hire defenders
in exchange for making PoBs that aren't defended at all easier to destroy?
