Scores have been updated. Check post 2 in this thread for details.

We're currently adding the posts from this thread where the plugin did not register. If that changes things, we will let you know.

As it stands, the lawfuls have a slight loss, and per the declared thresholds and outcomes, slight damage will be made to Atka.

So, the TL;DR of this event is:
Outcasts did Outcast things
Lawfuls did Lawful things
Corsairs went into crippling debt

And Atka gets its paintjob scuffed a bit.

In all, totally expected.

Thrilling, addictive, tense event I have to say! Thank you GMs for doing this one - I hope for more mixed events with possible (however minor) story consequences where everyone's included!

The enormous activity in both trading and kills should show how great of a move this was Smile Especially in comparison to recent events in not-so-played system the numbers look surreally high.

Thanks for pews with OC, big thanks for BFC for doing this for the community - the event convoys really are the best way to bring random people from disco together, we had a lot of fun in group chats and I got to know people I'd never even talk to otherwise.

The $/Hr was actually pretty bad bad compared to other ways of making money even with BFC spending - but it added a fun element on top of trading and I hope more people would do this for indies especially where hauling X is not just for money but actually matters to someone.

P.S. Anti-Kudos to Gassmen for their damn snub spam. Enjoy the free points I gave you while trying my best. I will learn to aim on snubs one day you scoundrels just you wait Big Grin

Me-0 Gassmen like 7 this event D:

Poor event, here are some things i have found out from the event:

Prices - Prices was rather low, ore transportation was much more profitable, if you want people to join into a event the prices should be on the better side, and the Corsairs paying their extra prices only made it reasonable. Stabline sold at Honshu for about 67$ less than the actual event item, and Corsairs wouldn't view me as a combat target, seems rather useful to run, since the scores do not even get taken into account for the return commodities. Corsairs, Cryer, GMG and Outcasts never got a bonus over normal factions either, a huge mistake to make when trying to encourage these factions in a server event.

Camping at JHs/bases - Seems the only interaction we get is the constant bombardment from people using Gunboats/Bombers/Battlecruisers, camping at JHs and JGs whenever they get the chance, if you want a successful event, at least make Kurile another sell spot for the event, GMG are in this event after all, Atka has no logical sense to them. You want people to transport all those items, each time, and be blown up as soon as they make a jump because they are "a valid combat" target, well guess what, valid combat targets, don't mean you can just kill without RP, make this much more clearer to newer players, also camping at a base when you combat dock is sick as well, there should be rules against this.

Poor/No Rewards - Nothing for participating in this event, when other events do, and the prices related to getting the kills was lower than other events, usually obtaining 10mill, we have a 6mill price on any kill, doesn't really encourage kills over trading now does it?

Not enough faction involvement - Hogosha, Golden Crysanthemums even the Kusari Naval Forces and Kusari Office of Intelligence could have had a say on the event, as such they didnt.

ooRP Hate - A bit of hate going on around about playing both sides of the event as well, not really fun when i want to try all the runs, and i think people should be a bit more tolerant of people trying to choose a side, not just stick to one side for the whole event.

The lack of trade events in general are rather poor too, there are new players trying to play here, and very few of our group actually took interest in it.

Needs to be worked on. Otherwise nice interactions from all sides and thank you to everyone.

1) Pretty sure there will be rewards like always - give GMs time the event just ended Smile

2) I played all three sides, I'm pretty sure multiple people did
Especially to get group fights going

(just not lawful combat side to be fair)

3) The JH camping
- I mean yeah it was a bit unfair when it was done by people playing the event doing it purposefully on IDs that didn't count

But I mean come on - this is part of it, and this is why mixed events bring so much activity. You want your trade route clean ? LOG COMBAT SHIPS, GET PEOPLE AND ORGANIZE A DEFENSE Imo AFK trading should be kept to Ore routes etc. You always had to be on the edge this event as a trader, and I do think that is 100% correct.

Profit was very bad, BFC saved it on one side, and other sides still hauled loads anyways. The profit is above regular commodities but below ores, especially if you count for the risk. But in exchange you score points and have RP consequences

There have been plenty of events. Thing is they were pure PvP, some were totally abandoned (Colorado, Tottori) so you probably didn't even notice - I hope GMs take this one as an example of an event that creates activity in a not so visited system. The difference in participation between this one and e.g. Tottori that also had RP consequences was astronomical.

Very fun event!! I really enjoyed it.
Thanks to all players who participated and the ones who make it possible.
Big high five to Sairs! We had (in general) the worst pvp players but we succeeded.

Complaining about who did such things and that, is a waste of time, since all involved groups in the event could do the same. Think we all got salty at some point (especially me), but that's in the past.
Also disrupting the enemy supplies and convoys was part of the event strategy.

As a Corsair, my alias would welcome Cryer to stay at Atka, remaining the great annoyance to the Outcast, like they always have been.

The event was partially fun, partially frustration and most of all hard work. Kudos especially to all the cargo haulers for enduring the most boring and exhausting task of going back and forth nonstop, constantly under threat of being blown out of space.

For a future event I would welcome the idea of doing something constructive together, instead of leaving wrecks and devastated planets. Cleaning up Munich with miners and cargo haulers for example or rebuilding wrecked stations. The trigger happy pvp fans can play in Conn meanwhile. Angel

I liked this event all in all. I only few a few times in the first week. Had some good and bad experiences, but nothing major to complain about.

The money could have been better, probably should have made it cheap to buy, the RP value of the cargo was enough to make people try anyways.

The sigmas are small, the layout has all of the dock points relatively close, its hard to catch someone at all. With that, I'm not surprised some folks got blown up fast, its sometimes the only way. I don't like camping either, but that is also sometimes the only way to catch up to someone in time to actually beat them. Otherwise most of my experiences were of people managing to escape. The battles were good and well populated though most of the time.

This event did have an extra edge that made people want to get involved, and I know it gets people anxious oorply, so people please take it easy, or we won't get these kind of events, they get ruined. But the real risk, even marginal, at least makes it have some purpose to get out and try.

I'd like to see something like this tried over in the Gallic front, or the Rheinland Civil War. But, like the broken record I am, I'll always say, pick some ships that are not so important, make them mortal, and on top of a supply event, let their also be battles around the big ships. For a chance to take a planet, or trade lane junction, one only needs to eliminate a big battleship guarding it. If there was a fair way to repair them, either by repair ships or supply, that would make such a contest a decent match.
