Well they say Eidothea-[Fae went rogue or something?

And Edinburgh system is losing the plot... Now I met some more weird Sirian oddities.

They are mooring with Gaia

At times like these I am glad I live in Gallia...Sirius seems just so bizzare and confusing. When we get some downtime maybe we can help you figure out what the hell is going down in Edinburgh...for now it's like a Zoo I can't even start to try to figure out.

This is Captain Parlance Gellen, speaking as part of the Gaian movement. It appears clear communication has become sparce. Reviewing your last transmission to us, you may be happy to note we have began our plan to remove the various pests who have refused to leave the Green Jewel. However there appears to be those who attempt to undermine such.

One such party would be from your own accursed house, the Unione Corse. They deliver armed persons and steal native life in an attempt to control and theft away what is not theirs to have. As you have shown in the past to stand in solidarity for our cause, we ask you do so again. I look forward to your reply.

Capitaine,
The Gaians have assisted us much, especially in recent times against the tyranny of the Gallic Government, infested as it is with Enclave personnel, and we have often found common cause in our missions of struggling against our oppressors, blind as they are by greed and power.

I've been appraised just now of the lingering Enclave nobleman and his intent upon Planet Gaia and assure you the Maquissards will not stand for any remnant of the Gallic Nobility, especially in recently-to-believed vacated Enclave territory. The stain must be expunged!

The fringe Corsicans supplying military aid to this madman of the nobility still on Gaia is indeed troubling news and one I must investigate further. While we send our scouts to, um, investigate the Corsican motive, the Front will deploy escorts to Edinburgh and Tau 31 from our operations there to provide additional security to your vessels against the Royalists and should you have need whilst we ascertain what they are up to, we will provide additional transports to bring in your weapons and materiel to facilitate the eradication of the Enclave presence on Gaia. The Maquis will also interdict any mercenarie transporrts we can coming through Roussillon enroute to the Green Jewel.

As soon as my intel comes back, we will reasess what our footing can be and what other aid we can offer the Gaian Movement.

Your reply is a welcome sight. We will look forward to hearing of your actions in the coming days. You should note that the Corse occasionally take the route through Tau-31, from there Tau-44 and beyond.

I am sure you are aware but if you were not, the Armed Forces have been at siege on a motley fort within the Orkney system. Their attention has slowly drifted towards Edinburgh which may deliver more firepower than the likes of the Corse or cretin Mollys could muster. Be wary out there.

Gaia will not bleed.

Capitaine Gellen,

Transports of the the Front have begun assisting your operation to Gaia, and my reports show nearly 20,000 units have been brought to your staging areas to exterminate these Royalist shits. My pilots tell me that the Gaians are out in force, encountering numerous members of the Green Movement in both combat and transport vessels, 'tis a good sign and I'm glad to hear it.

I've doubled our contracts on the Royalist remnants and began increased assaults upon any of their patrols we come across and it seems to be working. At this point, it seems its mostly down to the Count's ground forces on Gaia, which by the transport traffic and pressure the Gaians are maintaining, shouldn't be around much longer...

That is all for now Capitaine. We wish you well and will be back in contact soon.

From:Lionel Boucher
To:All Gaians
Subject:Congratulations

First of all - congratulations are in order. I wasn't exactly sure what Remi asked us to help you haul to Gaia, but it clearly worked. And you guys are hardcore I must say - wiping out the Royalists along with everyone else just like that makes me feel timid and restrained.

After our headquarters got gassed and annihilated with everyone still on board we actually have gained widespread popular underground support in Gallia we need to consider, add to that the fancy restrained Ex-Council Commanders that joined us with their big fancy ships recently who aren't quite ready to make hard choices and we can't do what you did - a clean, undiscriminating violence that brought purity to Gaia and allowed you to achieve your goal - you have my envy.

New focus
A few months ago your people contacted us with some sort of business with Fae that helped us greatly, speaking of some sort of threat, shots were fired between you... I was so stressed at the time it's hard to recall. We had our hands full in Lorraine, Champagne and Caussade Depot projects, but I promised you once they are done we would look into them. Well maybe now is the time?

We have encountered some . . . things you might have been talking about. Large Sirian animals that are somehow able to survive in the vastness of vacuum. We have actually seen some of these massive lifeforms peacefully co-existing with the Autonomous Zoners in Baffin some time back, ignoring us for the most part and acting in a friendly manner so we never paid them much mind. We have collected evidence of the Union or Royalists experimenting with these things previously - and this Gallic commanded technology vessels have been aggressive. The Order was contacted about then Gallic Union ships that were seen using the combined technology, but they first dismissed the overwhelming evidence and then backstabbed us by publicly siding with the oppressive Gallic Union that is threatening the very fabric of our house and cannot be trusted.

On their own, the lifeforms have never shown aggression towards us however . . . until now.

An anomaly
Our scouts have discovered an unknown anomaly in Roussillon that leads to a seemingly abandoned system. We have went there many times and found little signs of life or habitable planets, but on one of these scouting missions these things appeared:

Unlike the Zoner kept kind these have been extremely aggressive, I had to destroy two of them while damaging my ship. We have asked the Baffin Zoners about these, but those guys have lost the plot now it seems and their heads have become the Scrubbies they so worship.

So I am asking you - are these the things you have been talking about? Are they somehow related to Fae who I must repeat have supported us strongly in the past against the Royalists and Union and have gained a good amount of trust from us? Are they some sort of animals you wouldn't want us to harm? Believe me, I have helped you haul that bacteria, and I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of your crusade.

Thank you for the answers, we are in a lul period inbetween large projects for next several months, so if you want our attention on this or any other matter outside of Gallia we could cooperate on, now will be the time.

It is with both graditude and a stricken heart that I accept your congratulations. It comes with little joy or excitement that lives were lost. However it was a needed action and we will do what is needed for our people. That they are cheap lives, being remnant royalist forces from your house, but lives all the same. A quiet word was given for their souls to take to these voids safely.

Towards the ends we requested help towards was for you to handle those from your own house, those of the Unione Corse. We did not speak towards a direct hand in involvement. If you were able to transport anything it was likely supplies to assist in the overtaking of the terminal. A success I should say, as we are in process of fortifying it.

Towards this new focus. I have not an idea of what a "Fae" is. However you should be made aware of the situation in Orkney.

It's easy to see that a nomad incursion has come to the Tau Cluster. The nomads are vile aliens that at one point threatened the entirety of the Sirius sector. What brings them here is unknown. However structures and installations within Orkney have been heavily damaged and it is not rare to come across these aliens in the system.

These aliens, found with their blue-purple designs, rival the scale of our own vessels. They are a danger to humanity as a whole and must be eliminated without prejudice. An additional concern is that they are able to infect humans to become their thralls in clandestine design. It may just be the captain or a bridge member of a larger vessel, or a pilot of a fighter craft. It has already been discovered by a unified front that your house's navy is already infiltrated.

The system of Orkney is locked down towards Tau-31 and Edinburgh, to the best of our ability and the Armed Forces. There has yet been any public announcement through we shall be making one soon.

We shall investigate this additional jumphole, and suggest you remain vigilant in your operations in and around the Taus.

Well - let's face it, I don't care one bit about what the Navy has lost in Orkney. And one of the more reasonable Order agents even admitted there has never been devastation on Leeds' scale from these things - we are fighting against a vile enemy and you will excuse us if we will treat this alien threat as secondary for now mon amie.

That doesn't mean we will not take them seriously if the Gaians think we should, I will be the first to admit we have been often naive and ignorant when it comes to Sirian affairs - the mountain we have to climb domestically is just too steep for us to engage in due dilligence as we look for allies and support in Sirius desparately. Kirkwall is a vital base, was key in The Noble Funeral and it cannot be lost.

We will despatch our cloak supply vessels to quietly bolster your supplies there as first act of cooperation, and we will join any and all strikes against the things - our activity in the unknown system behind the Roussillon anomaly has been escalating recently, we will make sure to always avoid capture and will share more data with you as we collect them.

A plan has been brewing to use the newly discovered system as a fall-back option if Roussillon gets compromised and to build up covert infrastructure in one of the nebulae - for that we would need to eradicate whatever alien opposition lies there first.

Bonjour,

How are you, my extreme friends? Why I am calling - Planet Toulouse, as you probably remember, the Councillards have nuked all the settlements, including their own people when they left - and people call us brutal!

Well anyway, the planet is now suffering from a nuclear fallout, that includes the animals, atmosphere, everything. You know we'd never cross you so suppose it doesn't hurt to ask - do you know of anyone sensible, discreet and reasonable who would clean the Council-caused nuclear fallout, that you wouldn't shoot on sight so to speak?

INCOMING TRANSMISSION
ATTENTION !!! TOP SECRET !!!
CODING: USED THE STRONGEST KNOWN CODE FROM THE SECOND GALLIC WAR ERA.

· Sender: Archcaptain Lilianne Daphne Rose
· Location: Islay Base, Edinburgh
· Subject: Construction base in Roussillon.

To any high representative of the Maquis movement.

We wanted to ask if our old Maquis friends from the Second Gallic War would mind if we built a base in Ariege Nebula in the Rousillion system. We now officially have an outpost in Coronado under contract with the Crayter Republic, but for some reason it has become a little inconvenient recently.... We need a safe place where we can expand unhindered. I won't hide, we would like to be able to manufacture jump drive systems, cloaking or docking bays as well as engines, thrusters or even ships in such a base. Of course, if we agreed to build, we would supply members of the Maquis freedom movement with these goods at cost. After looking at our political and ideological situation for a while, where our enemies might strike and where they usually operate, we decided that the Rousillion system would be the best option, as it is out of reach of the Bretonia Armed Forces, Liberty Navy, Kusari Naval Forces (who have made themselves hostile towards us for some time, although we quietly supported them during the Taus wars), or regular Gallic Navy units. Plus it's right next to the Edinburgh system and the sacred planet of Gaia, which we defend with such devotion.

And while we're on the subject of planets, have you managed to ecologically clean Toulouse of radioactive fallout and restore its natural balance? Or would you still need help?

Yours sincerely
