Have been running a short run to Liberty and back about once per day just to keep the engines warm. During one of these trips, I encountered a fine gentleman by the name of Dwane McColley. He is a new trader, enthusiastic and with a good head on his shoulders and a fine attitude. I encourage you to communicate with him or even invite him to convoy with you whenever you see him on the comm.
Also, I understand from him yesterday that a younger brother of his may be applying to join our fair company! We'll keep a lookout for that - I imagine the young man would be a fine addition.

Hello everyone, i hope i find you all well,
Another quiet day for tradeing with a Triad and then a Pullman run with no problems. I then went to NY to do an errand i had waiting and ran into a Lane hacker at Westpoint. Strange thing was he flew right past me with no comm demands..not a sausage. My luck seems to be holding. On my return to Leeds i then ran into a Junker who requested me to stop, when i asked why and what could i do for him ( without stopping, i just dont unless they disrupt my trade lane or disrupt me ) again,nothing on comm...not a sausage. Surely my luck cant last much longer or ill be takeing Alecs record off him......

Today we did our first run after the full recovery of Ms. Hiller. Just a short one, as a warm-up. With boron to Leeds, beryllium to New Berlin and finally engine components to Cambridge. Only extraordinary thing was high number of Corsairs in Cambridge, please be careful there.
Oh and btw, ship re-registrations are accepted again, so our ships name should follow GI convention soon.

Greetings All,
Had a good short run to Peublo and back yesterday, and entered into conversation with a Trade Guild ([tg]) vessel, [tg]Lameos. It seems they are part of a concerted effort to help independent traders get up and running. This particular trader has a son who does some free escort work in a gunboat. I think we can consider TG vessels to be friendly, and I would encourage you to invite them into convoys, if they're interested.
In other news, I regretfully notice our numbers have been down for some time, and I have not seen nearly as many Gateway vessels in space. After our latest roll call (Gateway Roll Call), here is our current (albeit tentative) staff listing:

Hello everyone,
Hope i find you all well. Today when doing a Pullman run, as California was full of XA and Liberty vessels having a little fight so the Triad was out, i was stopped by a pirate named [OPG]Muad'Dip. He gave me 2 choices, drop my cargo or pay 2mill in tax. Since my cargo cost a little under 900 thousand i dropped it. This happened in Omega 3 so it was no trouble to go back and get some more cargo and this was still less than the tax he demanded !!! Seems a bit strange and uneconomical to me but there you go. Oh, and he was charging 15mill for 24 hour free passage!!! as ion storms were everywhere tonight, the offer was not taken up.
I knew my luck couldn't last.

Hello everyone.
Completed a Triad run tonight with no problems at all. Hired two Jupiter guild pilots for an escort and very well they did it too. They are to be commended. Heard a little rumour that RM are not allowing Passengers from Liberty space through Rhineland anymore, but i experienced no problems with them. Could be worth investigating though!!
Hope you all are well, im heading to the pup for a beer.
With the small amount of coin remaining on my person I was able to rent a Starflier from Planet Manhattan. Undeterred by the dangerous, and often life threatening trip, (I was attacked by Rouges more than once, and once by Mollys, who obviously did not realize who I was and also did not realize that I am employed by Gateway, which is now their friend), I finally arrived, though a bit bruised, to Kensington where the company was kind enough to set up some quarters for me to rest and freshen up as I await a meeting with a company representitive.
The young woman who received me and showed me to my room was very pleasent indeed. Although at the moment, her name escapes me. I assume the company has a progressive stance when it comes to employees seeking a... relationship..., eh?

Hello everyone,
Completed a Pullman run today with only a small hiccup, two Corsairs disrupted my tradelane but did nothing so i just flew on. Lucky i guess.
Welcome aboard Niles and i look forward to flying with you. Im normally docked at Kensington so if you need anything just holler.
Being restless and unable to sleep, I hopped into my rented Starflier and cruised the immediate vicinity around Kensington and by chance found Herr Koch. Together we made haste to Planet Leeds and we aquired my new Percheron. I was able to find some willing lads to hire on as my crew, as well.
However, upon leaving Leeds traffic control the lads and I felt a terrible vibration coming from the engine compartment. Herr Hoch was eager to assist me in making my first run, but I explained what was happening and I landed the Devonshire for the lads at the maintence hanger to give her a go over.
This morning the Devonshire was given a clean bill of health. I'm told there was a faulty regulator on the starboard engine that caused the whole mess. I plan on taking her out this afternoon once I'm satisfied that she's up to snuff.
