People still going on about Discovery dying? Pffft heard that before!

Blessed in he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.

Still waiting for Freelancer to be finished, star citizen will be star dust before it gets a full release...

There it is! There's always at least one salty princess.

Joking aside, the "Discovery is dead" topic is one of perception. To some, Discovery is very alive and well. I know some people who enjoy logging in with a few friends, do some missions or battlezones, and log out after a few hours. For others, it died recently or a short while ago, depending on who you ask. It's different for everybody based on what they value in this community. Some people value things that community happens to get right so they say that Discovery isn't dead. There's also the argument that as long as the server is up and running, it will never die. Also true. It's all about perception, who you ask, and what they value in the community.

It ain't about what you are capable of, it's about what you're willing to do.

An epic gravedig for once - it's fascinating to read how people were sure Star Citizen will be the new and better freelancer everyone just moved to.
