how about an explosion with sharper blur marks?

sort of like this but all red or orange and very bright in the middle (this will be like the blur from the intense heat of blast).

what do you think? perhaps we should bring out the fireworks:D

Believe me, i'm trying to make new blasteffects....
Beam-effects (gun-fire) is easy, but those explosions aren't possible (i think)

Currently i can only take effects which are in the game.
Oh and i discovered some awesome smoke-effects, but i can not combine them with explosions:(
