My name is Martin de Alba y Espronceda, currently Field Marshal of the Pontifical Guard of the NCC and Minister of Defense.
I am contacting you to place an order for "delicate" material. I need to renew the fleet of combat vehicles of the guard that I lead because the ones we currently have are reaching the limit of their useful life, It will not be a large order, our current fleet is 30 combat vehicles and light transport so I calculate that with 30 units of military supplus we will achieve the objectives.
Therefore, I would like to place an order for 400 units of military supplus, for a total of 40 medium infantry vehicles and 360 units of 10 combat armor.
It has reached my ears that you will be able to find everything you need in Bretonnia.
This order has two indispensable conditions:
-First, discretion, I am willing to pay extra for this.
-And second, all material must be delivered by Freighters directly to the surface of Pygar, in the settlement of faithhaven.
I look forward to your response and your budget.
With Deux's help this work will be beneficial for both.

Greetings Field Maestre Martín de Alba y Espronceda,
My name is Jake Donovan and I represent the Freelancer organization of Interstellar Transit.
The initial response to your communication was one of joy that our advertising credits were well spent getting the word out about our small cargo delivery services in addition to the core passenger transit we offer!
However, I see this 'delicate' request has nothing to do with a fragile cargo but the sensitivity in getting that politically volatile cargo to your location without igniting a firestorm of activity. Delicate indeed.
I will assume your decision to involve our rather neutral group comes from the need to keep this outside of the typical Omicron factions where news of this venture would have repercussions. Rest assured I can be trusted not to have this information forwarded past my inbox, unless with your permission.
As any Freelancer worth one's salt would, let me feel out a few contacts that might be inclined to take on this action.
There will be some significant costs for involvement, to get those contacts interested:
Estimated Costs
Planning costs and considerations
Military Surplus sourcing
Product purchase
Ship requirement costs
External Hires
Risk: Bribes / Payoffs
Total Estimate: 5,000,000 SC
There may be some 'wiggle room' as some line items don't always end up costing as dearly as predicted in planning. Also note that many of these steps may take some time to setup, so an idea on your timetable expectations would be appreciated. I doubt anyone accepting such an assignment would be able to 'overnight' it, and if they could I can't imagine it would be a smooth, discrete trip.
Let me know your thoughts on these figures and whether we should proceed with this operation. A deposit of 50% to account 'Credits' will be required as a sign you are serious about this course of action.
If anyone else inquires about our conversation, I will deny thoroughly this talk.
I think there has been a misunderstanding, this assignment is not secret or anything like that, the budget has been approved by the Curia and the assignment is simply a renovation and a small application of material.
The discretion part is so that your company does not communicate it openly with anyone, but if you are stopped, inspected and questioned about the shipment, you can give the appropriate explanations, at the NCC we have nothing to hide.
For all this I believe that your budget is too high for the funds that have been assigned to me for this task, so I request a re-evaluation and a new budget.

Greetings Field Maestre Martín de Alba y Espronceda,
I think my misunderstanding evolved from my brief check into supply of Military Surplus with some of my old contacts.
The Military Surplus you are requested is restricted for transport in Bretonian, Rheinland, and Kusari space, as well as highly sought after in the systems through which we'd have to travel to reach you at Pygar.
I've since located a reasonable source that we can use, so it's just a matter of logistics of delivery to get it to you.
Our more reasonable revised budget for this operation is $750,000 - half upfront (it can go to =IT=Bank) to secure our crews for these trips and the rest to be received by directly by the settlement upon delivery on Pygar.
We hope this fits your budget and upon successful completion, perhaps leads to more business in the future!
I am pleased to inform you that your new proposal has been accepted but I must inform you of a substantial change.
We will make the payment in two parts, as you wish, the first payment will be 500K SC and once the material is received another 500K SC will be paid to you.
Consider this as a sign of our willingness to continue doing business with you and our desire to see your company prosper.
You will receive the first payment in the next few days.
Good evening and may Deux be with you Mr. Donovan.
P.S. Your commercial has been instrumental in convincing the rest of the government to increase the payment amount, the problem is that now I hear it all the time, it is hitting hard at Headquarters, continue with your good work.

Greetings Field Maestre Martín de Alba y Espronceda,
My apologies for the lack of confirmation regarding our contract.
We are indeed pleased for the additional funds for these shipments - they have allowed much flexibility in making arrangements to get you.
My contacts were telling me only short hours ago that all preparations are now in place - their ships should depart from Bretonia with your cargo onboard within a short period after your receipt of this communique.
You can expect my confirmation of delivery once I hear back from those captains, although I'm sure your landing site staff at FaithHaven have been given similar instructions once these ships are on approach.

Greetings Field Maestre Martín de Alba y Espronceda,
I am pleased to report the completion of delivery regarding the Military Surplus shipment you ordered, having arrived at FaithHaven by way of my Freelancer associates only a short time ago. Confirmation of delivery attached.
As it turned out, our source for this product had so much surplus available they offered an additional 25 units of Combat Armor at a steep discount when they noted our freighter involved was not completely full. These units have been included in your delivery at no additional charge, save the fees paid by the landing site.
We appreciate your trust in Interstellar Transit and our Freelancer network to see your needs met!

Thank you for the surplus armor, we will put it to good use as spare parts since our guards will inevitably break some in training to get used to it.
The vehicles are in very good condition, even the Pontiff himself has paid a visit to the workshops to carry out an inspection and was so pleased that he is even thinking of using one as a personal Pontiffcar.
Your operation has been carried out in an outstanding manner, I like well-planned and executed plans, my congratulations for that.
From now on, when we need something from off-planet you will be our first choice.
