-- BROADCASTING MESSAGE --
Warm greetings! I hope this message finds you well. I'm Elize Terblanche, on behalf of Caledonia Distributions Limited. In case you are not aware, we're the newest subsidiary of Gateway Shipping, and we focus on premium cargo services, such as long-haul transit of dangerous or high-value cargo as well as just-in-time deliveries with or without prior scheduling.
In recent times, some of our captains — who have great latitude to engage in economic activity pretty much freely in accordance with general company guidelines — have taken to shipping materials to and from the Omicrons, and have on occasion encountered your own people in this dangerous space. I hear that your group are some of the primary producers of iridium, which is a commodity in great demand with our friends at Ionic. Especially as geopolitical tensions ratchet up, now more than ever we here at Caledonia wish to emphasize our belief in the importance of unrestricted commerce and free trade bringing people together. As such, we'd like to invite you to stop on by at Kanagawa Shipping Platform within Honshu, and ask if you'd be interested in setting up a long-term supply contract for this precious metal. Currently we accept hauls of iridium at a price of ₡215 per unit, though we may be willing to negotiate on the specifics.
If there is anything in particular that your people have great need of, we may be able to stock it at Kanagawa, or even to ship it to you directly at Athens. If this business relationship sounds like something you might be interested in, please let us know and we can organize the particulars together, and naturally I will be here to answer any concerns you may have as well.
On behalf of all of us at Caledonia, it is lovely to finally make your acquaintance. Thank you for your time, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I've reviewed your proposal, and at this stage, I’m afraid it doesn’t present a compelling opportunity for us.
Allow me to elaborate.
First, as you're aware, House corporations restrict our access to their installations when using larger transports. This forces us to rely on frigate-class vessels to work around those limitations—costing us both time and fuel.
Second, we already have established buyers offering better prices at comparable distances. To be specific, we currently receive 229 credits per unit elsewhere.
Lastly, if we were to deliver iridium to your base, we’d need a viable return cargo to justify the trip. While optronics have their uses on occasion, and platinum is always in demand but your current rates make that option economically unappealing.
In contrast, a straightforward route to Bristol in Galileo and back remains significantly more profitable.
And just a few days ago, we struck a deal with a Junker in Magellan offering 250 credits per unit—further raising the bar.
Should your terms change in the future or new opportunities arise, we remain open to discussion.
