I still dont think it's acceptable to attack someone simply due to the weapons they are using, with the exception of nomad equipment (for obvious reasons). It sounds like a simple case of "We're bored and have nothing else to do, so we're going to find reasons to shoot you up", which seems to be happen far too often when it comes to liberty lawfuls. They have nothing else to do, so they either sit outside manhattan all day clogging up systems chat, or they find reasons to kill people they shouldnt be killing.

Attacking people for criminal weapons is harsh, as we have stated earlier. Nomad weapons, fair enough we all know there.

If they are bored in Liberty, I'd do one of the following:
  • Turn on Skype (for once) and chat
  • Switch characters
  • Leave the game for 30 minutes and read the forums
  • Draw
  • Attempt to RP with local community
Its easy for me to type I know. But boredom and people with weapons is not a good mix.

Its not a good mix, and if its a member of LN they should know better. We routinely drill into peoples heads that we do not condone OOC in system, PvP abuse or abuse of ones position as a naval officer.

If what was said is true, they will be spoken to for their zealous behaviour, if they were not members of LN there isn't much I can do. A

And Tenacity please just chill out with the frothing and the malice, pleace?

Junkers complaining about having their "rights" violated? They are lucky to be tolerated anywhere near lawful space, given their involvement in slavery, cardamine and all the other stuff that goes on while they're "collecting scrap". They might imagine themselves to be kinda like "Bubbles Depot" or Albert Steptoe but remember this is the group that has been assisting the AI Fleets that have been making smoothies using thousands of innocents harvested across Sirius.

I'm not one for getting into talking about loadouts in game but Corsair weapons could reasonably be taken by any officer to demonstrate 1. involvement in arms dealing and 2. involvement with the largest criminal organisation in Sirius.

And the lawfuls have every right to be zealous, given how many pirates operate in NY.

The thread title could be toned down a bit.

alright, so I guess it's time to start committing terrorist bombing attacks on manhattan cities. While we're at it, we'll help the rheinland military wipe the floor with liberty's navy. We'll even bring the corsairs along, promising them the chance at gaining a foothold in liberty in exchange for their massive fleets of cruisers and dreadnaughts... let's give liberty some first hand interaction with corsairs and see how they feel then.

Oh, and let's not forget the harvesters, they'd love the chance at harvesting all that bio-mass liberty has to offer. The rogues would finally get their chance to rise up against 'the man' as well, taking down the liberty government. The hackers would finally have the help needed to strike down ageira and take control of the lanes and gates within liberty, sectioning off every system within the house so the liberty fleets cant rally with one another and fight back.

You dont mess with someone who has as many political connections as we do. If liberty wants to start harassing junkers, they'd better be ready to deal with the consequences.

Liberty doesn't know Corsairs?,,, Ummm, well I blew up, 3 corsairs cruisers at least, more titans than what my fingers can count. A few Lunchbox here and here in the old times

Plus, LSF has like a few days ago, fought the corsairs (event).

Artifacts come from where? Corsair space, me guess Liberty Force would try to investigate, know more about the subject.

we are human, we are clever, we aren't a bunch of Ostrich that burries their heads into the sand and forget everything. Even if our encounters were scarce, we still know who the corsairs are.

But noone knows about the Alaska gate? Bah, crap.
How about playing reasonable instead of abusing RP as an excuse for PvP?

I prefer to do PvP on HHC.
Just gimmie a call if RP is obsolete here.

Yeah, but Junkers tend to have unique relationships/ties to lawful factions.

You don't consider a Junker hostile as Liberty Navy (atleast, I don't think you should), you consider him with suspicion. Junkers usually sit on the fence in that they'll do things for both sides, for example they'll sometimes rat out a local smuggler or a pirate to the police to keep the government off their backs. They actually would (or should) be pretty welcome in a place like Liberty, it's just that Liberty can be unrealistic in that it doesn't have anything other than good-cop Top Gun's when it comes to Navy, Police, and even the Bounty Hunters.

If every single person with a lawful ID wouldn't try to always kill you for abit of petty smuggling the Junkers might stop treating you like the arses you tend to be and actually help you out with something for a change.. I've recently went completely hostile to the Bounty Hunters 'cause absolutely every single one of them act like charismatic goodie-twoshoes who can't be bribed or convinced into doing something a little different every once in awhile. It's starting to go that way for my Junker with all lawful-militant organizations just because they treat me like I'm a bogey and not a Junker.

It's for these reasons that my Junker doesn't visit Liberty often, 'cause even the better roleplayers you find there are just looking for a way to justify killing you. It's the same reason I'm branching out and flying a Gunboat, too.

So basically, what you're saying is, because of the actions of certain individuals, all Liberty pilots (and dont take that lightly, that means every lawful indie, the LSF, LPI, and the LN) are PvP whores?

Oh. My. Goodness. Threads like this just bring out the worst of this community.

Give us a break. If a member of the Liberty forces is being a jerk, PM the appropriate faction leader.
