You can always get a Freelancer ID rather that joining a NPC trader faction. Your ships will be limited to 3600 cargo, but I don't think that would be a real problem for anyone who's not power-trading.
Unfortunatly most of us APM pilots have Heavy tanker and above. Since we are also the finacial backing of S/D when needed. You do get used to how easy the hvy tanker makes crdits. But we could also just drop into firefly's with the freelancer ID we will have to see what we can come upt with. Personally I can not wait to see the new routs. We could just RP multiple Corps working for the BHG and each of us have a different ID and tag
so Zoners, get limited to a 3600 cargo range,
then my question is,
I have a bret lux liner and it is a Banking ship, am I then still allowed to use it,
*every big bank has a fancy office*
well, i have noticed this: since ive been here i havent seen one large transport (3600 or up) being escorted. I havent ever seen anyone do an escort that wasnt associated with myself.
All i see and hear is people crying about someone else being OORP while they trade like a nine year old.

Good riddance.
Have you considered joining APM? :P
As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Search Destroy Agency, we DO run escorts whenever feasible. You'll note in our message board that several recruits have had ships blown out from under them while doing escort missions.

No thank you. Several of us started an unofficial faction whose rules include:
Quote:3. Traders will fly alone only if they are in a ship with countermeasures and mkVIII armor.
My Trader ID'd bomber is by far my most fun toon and sees the most RP. You would be supprised at how many pirates never read a trader ID.
But not to derail the thread, my last statement stands and I am glad it will be like that. Unfortunately here is the dilema:
Discovery is by far the most populated server. Most of the people in space either...
a. dont roleplay at all
b. respect only the letter of the law because it allows for minimum Rp with maximum rules whoring, pvp whoring, and cap whoring.
When these changes go through the server population suffer. Some people will say "we don't want em" (as i already have), but basically anyone involved in pirating or trading legal goods, or enforcing them will have less of a choice for interaction (which is the foundation of roleplay).
Heh. I will probably be moving my trader to Ageira or something. They have a profitable route but with my goals of getting the faction started up. Well its sorta on the back burner.. I probably won't even have time to fix my GB.. so I will be moving it to a point where i won't need the guard ID.. >.>
