I know that the Liberty Navy have been working hard for ages with all kinds of different solutions to try and help sort out Liberty. This is not something they wanted to do, nor is it something they are undertaking lightly. Hopefully it will work, and I applaud their efforts and support them as best as I can. Of course, it might mean I even get to fly my liberty rogue VHF without getting stomped on by two liberty dreadnaughts near the Liberty Rogue Destroyer in New York, as happened the last time I logged onto the character:P
' Wrote:Thanks for all the support people, the rest of you...well, kindly go away:P Anyhow, me and Joe've been online today a lot and I know its only one day, but Liberty was almost a haven of RP, not a single line of ooRP for a long, long time and tons of RP, indies and LN working together hand in hand and all respecting the chain of command, it seems this is doing more good than bad for all you warmongers:P
This is good.
I may start playing my unlawfuls there more often, I prefer to roleplay and run from the law than have some tool in a cruiser scream at me to leave the system because I withdrew from fighting him.
' Wrote:No no no no... in order to get rid of the negative views on caps we need responsible people to use and RP the capships MORE often.
Seriously.... I dont mean use them to WTFPWN everything that moves.. but to RP it as a command ship or something...
And yes, this.
This is why the LNS Citadelle de Quebec has always been and always will be my favorite Liberty capship. Whether the craft is still active is irrelevant, Xing has the right idea and knows how to play an admiral.
Now, if the LN really tries to enforce such a thing, i'm impressed by the Cap-Spamm in Liberty. Has it become even worser than in January/February? :yahoo:
If yes, then i'm really worried...... (or were at that time just not the right people in place to do so?)
Hope you can do it!
If it works, it could perhaps be time to take the day and join the Rogues once more.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
' Wrote:We didn't threaten you with a sanction, we simply told you not to re-engage after you were destroyed, think before you make an accusation, I have screenshots of the entire conversation as I know some people try to exploit situations. So, after the ship we destroyed stayed right next to us, the ships who killed him, I believe we were quite reasonable. As for bringing a lot of ships. There was the Providece, a BS, 2 BC's and you in the system that were hostile to LN. So yeah, was pretty much normal.
Capwhoring is all too common. But calling for backup? That's overdoing it. Although half of the following situation was RP, the OoRP relates to the point.
One day, the Ascendant Justice is in NY. I was on my once-lawful Liberty Cruiser. In group chat, two fighter and two bomber pilots are screaming at me: GET YOUR CRUISER TO ROCHESTER! Not saying any names but, *cough Ypsilantis cough*
Anyway, I'm RPing the situation, trying to hint at the same time, "I'M NOT SENDING IN MY CAP, GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!" Okay, I know the 522nd is hostile to the Navy, but I don't like to capwhore. I don't like being called one either. Titan, no offense to you, but maybe you could give pilot training sessions, I've seen you fight in an Avenger. Fairly good. Samantha Casper isn't too bad either. You should promote some of your high-class fighter pilots to "Pilot Instructor". The LN has some decent pilots, but some need some serious practice. With that, Liberty Capwhoring may not be as common or widespread.
A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
