Damn, got the JCB for this one.

Bladerunner and a few others with the original premise by Philip.K.Dick including
Total Recall and recently, Minority Report. Looking forward to seeing A Scanner Darkly
but I suspect it will go straight to DVD over here.
A I Artificial Intelligence, was a great try at a Brian Aldiss work. Someone must be
capable of interpreting more of his brilliant books
Donnie Darko... More blackness from Richard Kelly please.
You can see where I'm at.. Havn't got all night.

I guess I like wayyyyyy too many films.. when i started to think of them I couldn't stop... so I'll just tell you about something I have always liked (from the first time to the last time)

Kevin Smith's New Jersey series:

Clerks (1994)

Mallrats (1995)

Chasing Amy (1997)

Dogma (1999)

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)

All of these films have something uber cool about them, tho the last one is more of a "Scary Movie type, jokes all the time :) "

Still very good series, ohh BTW Clerks II (2) is in postproduction :D

Play a Microsoft CD backwords, and it plays satanic messages. Play it forwards, and it does something worse - It installs Windows.

My favorite movie is Crash. It has some of the best scenes I have ever watched. All of them play with your preceptions about who you are and how you think. Also, many of scenes are incredibaly emotinonal but are not over done. One scene make you makes you cringe. Another will make you laugh. One more thing, the acting is really good. I think that regardless of who you are, you should watch this film.

Other than that I like,
Starwars ( yes, the good and the bad ones)
The Girl Next Door ( that chick is sooo HOT)
Orange County ( makes fun of every teenagers struggle to get into an American college) I can relate...
The matrix (part one)
Snach ( Brad Pitt was funny as an Irish Gypsy)
Last Exile ( anime about pilots)
(old school) James Bond films (AKA Shawn Connary playing James Bond)
Fight Club ( very cool twist at the end)
Oceans 11 ( just a sweet plot driven movie)
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black pearl

Ok, that completes my list

For me its:

Starwars Episode VI
Independence Day
The Long Kiss Goodnight

Those are my favs that i can remember. If i cant remember them, then theyre not my favs :P .
All the new starwars are rubbish, though Episode III is better than the other ones I and II.

Indepedence day is one of my favs from an early age of 7. Classical 20th century.

The Long Kiss Goodnight. Spy suffering from Amnesia after being shot in the head. Another must-see

hehe, just saw The Long Kiss Goodnight (n-th time) on TV yesterday.

People, you forgot 'K-PAX' really good one and while I'm at it, 'Don Juan de Marco' - two from my long list of favorites, pretty much same thing...

in 'Don Juan...' a lunatic convincing his psychiatrist that he really is the famous Don Juan (see what happens...)

in 'K-PAX' a lunatic convincing the psychiatrist he is from another planet (makes you think...)

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov
The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
