Plus, I can think of a million reasons for the Order to be in New York in roleplay. Just because Black Squadron can't think of RP reasons to go to a certain system, doesn't mean that other Order pilots can't roleplay their way there.
Just because Bs| say they aren't at war, doesn't mean the Orders other parts aren't. Some Order members could be a strike force attacking Liberty if they so wished.

Tenacity! I'm surprised at you. For someone who was and is so ardently 'anti faction' you should know/remember/believe above the rest of this lot that individual actions might put down initial perception, it's always the conduct on the individual in the here and now that carries the day.
If anything, official factions drag their names through the mud or elevate themselves above the rest with far more ease than any number of caterwauling randoms might.
Take the BHG for instance, faction is regarded as the laughingstock of disco. But when you occasionally run into someone who's doing it with style they stand out right away, as do fine examples such as the S/D.
Corralling anyone who slaps on an ID by anything but example isn't the way to go, in my humble opinion. If that attitude worked while running the XA I'm sure it'll work while running the Bs|.
If this sort of action were being taken by the corsair factions, or the outcast factions, nobody would have any problem with it - because those idiots camp new york with half a dozen OC dessies DAILY, so why the hell is everyone fussing over this for the order?
DO NOT! I REPEAT! DO NOT! bring corsair's into this. Corsair's get a 30 day jail term for entering Liberty/rheinland space. This was an admin decision.
Infact. i think i will petition the rest of [OPG] to withdraw support entirely from the order,and ban them from Gamma. As the Bs leader say's "they have no reason to be there"

The reason the Corsairs were brought into it, by proxy, is because those persons who feel like they're missing out on the camping NY with a half dozen cruisers crowd get Order IDs.

Ok i got a solution. If your faction does not have any NPC's in a system? you cannot go there period. So outcast's can never attack Gamma(no outcast NPC's) Corsair's cannot attack alpha(no corsair NPC's) Trader's? well there just screwed,even if they get a proper ID other then "TRADER" they can only trade a couple system's. And we can now call the game' This is my system get out"

Seriously though, there's a difference between massive fleets of battleships, and a small raid, with fighters and such. I could see restrictin Osiris class ships, and the new ones, next version. Giving them a Zone they can't leave, etc.
I can't see telling people not to follow their infocard, even in fighters.
