Remora, even though what you said makes sence, it sounded like you purposely wanted Bs| to be a huge minority. This council is for the order in general, for the greater good, there is not reason why Bs| and indies should vote on matters differently,

I think that's what people don't seem to get, Bs| gets along great with alot of indies and I worked hard to get that to be so :/

The point is that the membership is chosen by the Bs, and most of the members of the council are also members of Bs. Therefore we shouldn't allow the Council to make any restrictions on others' RP that we wouldn't allow Bs to make, because the Council and Bs are one and the same. Otherwise it does become a 'faction v indie argument' because we would have a faction (a Council appointed by Bs) dictating roleplay to indies.

see if you were in the order general skype chat a few minutes ago (that's Bs| and indies) you'd see that that isn't so.

and the people that are cooperatively chosen by both Bs| and indies are chosen based on their rp and involvement in the order. It's all fair. And I think most if not all order indies will agree with the chosen indie council members. I even think they might agree with the chosen Bs| members.

Like I said, I worked alot to get Bs| and order indies united and I like to think as some of them as my friends here on disco and we get along well.

At the risk of spamming this thread, those changes are a matter of opinion, and they do not reflect the opinion of the lead modder who has kept things as he wishes them to be. 20 years is no time at all in a situation involving terroristic groups. Just take a look at the various terrorist groups around the world, many of whom are still wreaking havoc literally generations after their creation, and long after any of their members were even alive to know why it was created to be begin with. It may be your opinion and the opinion of others that things should have changed, but that is your subjective opinion, and is hardly an objective reflection of the way history actually develops. But here's the beauty of it : BS| has freedom to evolve as a squadron of The Order, even if the larger Order as a whole does not evolve along the same lines, or doesn't evolve at all. Those who wish to change may do so, and those who do not wish to should not be forced to when the mod's storyline hasn't.

Whatabout the bretonia-kusari war? Wasn't that started by the KNF and BAF player factions? Again, not really sure, but that was my impression. And in the mod red-me, there's this news about what has changed since the last mod version. Like the war progessing, or these systems being discovered etc. Who makes those decisions?

Um, no. For the longest time we didn't even have a BAF faction, until the Privateers (QCP) appeared, which spawned the QCO... Which eventually turned into the BAF. The war was Igiss' creation.

He already did, and you all ignored him.

One side note for this request would be that Discovery story will not proceed into reducing hostilities between Liberty and The Order, at least not in the near future.

This role-playing can be approved for a single ship, within limited bounds, but I do not recommend to spread it onto another members of The Order and/or Liberty lawfuls.

In this new council's honor i shall be loading the Discovery mod tonight and attacking New York in my Order ID/IFF Osiris. That will be all.

Anyway, I do believe the problem is that you are not responding to roleplay with roleplay. Xoria is (Surprisingly :dry:) right in what he is saying. Instead of thinking of a way to justify what people are doing, which is completely acceptable, seeing as you're hostile to Liberty, you are trying to suppress what some people think of as one of your primary concerns.

I can see that when given a constructive option to fix what has quickly become a mess, you have chosen to ignore that option, and instead reply with animosity to what is going on. Roleplay with what you are doing. Make OoRP into RP. Think of something that justifies what the Order Independents are doing. Maybe, I don't know, read the news regarding war between Liberty and Rheinland, or think about it yourselves.

What do you think the LWB is going to do when Liberty goes to war with Rheinland? Are we going to roll over and say "Fight's over, everyone, go home?" Hell, no, we aren't, we're going to find a way to keep Synth Foods on Stuttgart so that we can continue to exist as to what we are. It might be in a different light, but this is the same situation. You have to roll with the punches, and roleplay with what you are given.

On the contrary, Najm only enters Liberty space on rare occasions.
I am doing it because I can, because i choose not to be neutral with
Liberty knowing full well most of Liberty does one thing while saying another.

When i typed in the word attacking it should of read defending, I'll explain:
As i type this i am in Alaska, there was a LSF-Thunder.Rock Cruiser initially
I role played a little, did not attack. Normal responses were received,
"You will be destroyed" "-facepalm- Idiot". Ect Ect.
There is now a additional LN Cruiser and a LN bomber in Alaska.
Care to take bets on who takes the first shot? I'd love taking your money.
You make me so happy :D

PS. Half of the LN Capital force is now in Alaska less than 10k from the Minor hole,

Although I think Alaska should be a warzone for the Order and Liberty, like a no-man's land, but no crossing into eachother's territories.
