well... I'l put up the the most recent render I done for a friend in a min, although it is rather large, thanks to his massive widescreen.
Anyway...




I think it is missing things majorly, ideas and suggestions?..
and the image to the right is of my tattoo (not real size obviously) and with a outerglow.

Not too bad, the background just seems a little plain to me. I'd suggest blowing the render up a little bit too, to let more of the extensions hang off the signature. Gives it a more dynamic effect. It's a little dark, but I'm not against that if that was the intent. I like dark and shadowy looking accents.

The glow should be a different color, though. The pale yellow clashes a bit with the color scheme.

Not bad. Having a larger canvas does help I think.

Yup the affect on the ship was intentional, Made several layers, removed different parts and changed different qualities of the image.

I agree with the glow to be honest, there is a good clash then there is a clash that just needs to go :/

Had an idea for a sig, just working on it at the moment and am adding your comments and suggestions into it, so hopfully it will go well.

Personally, I think the idea behind it was good, but didnt turn out as planned, so not all that impressed with it.
One of my most disliked sigs to be honest heh

The conecpt is nice, actually. Looks nice, but I'm not feeling the text in the center. Make the little island bigger, methinks. (The ship and tattoo look nice in your new sig, good job on those.)

Yea, I saw one which looked really good which had that kind of technique to it, and thought i'd give it a try, was probably because of the canvas size etc...

Indeed, your signatures are a bit too small. They're nice but a tad busy, a style too overrated these days, something I dislike.

I mean, I'd rather see another of Orin's weirdo sigs, than one made of 90 % C4D bulked together and other elements thrown in a 400 by 150 px box.

Theres that which I done out of boredom, got annoyed with the other large, plain sigs I was attempting to do.
Might just stick with the smaller size's and try to get them less busy...

Actually, I like this one. Nice contrast, and the text blends in rather well. I have a couple issues, though: First, your light source seems to be at the top of the image, whereas the lighting on the ship and planet would show differently. Also, I dislike how the border on the extreme left side of the sig (on the left on the planet) is uneven in proportion to the planet itself. Maybe make it end in a circle that goes evenly around the planet, so it looks kind of like an atmosphere for it? Dunno.
