So order did managed to overtake nomad tehnology and can use it? Erm, when? Sounds perfectly normal for me, that BHG could use nomad guns, after all they are in the war with them and order, so they could easily steel it, take it from them.

You cant just slap part of a nomad on the side of your ship and expect it to shoot pretty lights when you pull the trigger.

Creating a nomad-style weapon which can interface with human technology is not easy, it takes a great deal of scientific and technical expertise, and it probably took the order a great deal of time and effort to create the first functional nomad cannons and blasters.

The BHG doesnt have the same kind of scientific interest, most BHG pilots are ex criminals who hunt other criminals for cash. They may be wealthy, but they dont have scientists of their own to work on research and development like the order does. That is why the BHG is at war with the order - instead of making their own weapons, ships, or technology, the BHG is trying to overthrow the order and steal whatever they can.

Only if they have appropriate special RP IDs or are trial members of Nomad or Wild groups.

I would say that trials should be allowed, providing they don't abuse. But also that they cannot engage first, only in self defense.

I had planned on a special RP proposal for a squad of BHG fighters equipping Nomad weaponry and thrusters and for experimental Nomad turrets on bigger ships. But this puts the kybosh on that, I suppose. All that RP collecting Nomad intel for nothing. How terribly disappointing.

Still, once only Order, Wilde and Kepper are using them, it seems the days of them turning up on Corsair ships will end. I have no complaints there once this is applied right across the board.

I imagine the trade in them will come to an abrupt end.
