How about they get free registration of their cap ships for a month?

Some factions don't have caps - For instance the GMG.

I do like the idea of "Faction of the Month" though. It would give some free PR to factions, and encourage more events.

for example Hessians have no chance how to beat Hackers or Liberty rogues, KNF have absolutly no chance how to beat BAF. There are also ppl (like me:D) which doesnt play everywhere or even people which play only in one curent house. For example I am playing only in Omegas and Kusari (+ Leeds and ocasionaly Rheinland), I cant objectively vote in poll because I know only Rheinland/Omega and Kusari factions and totaly doesnt know anything about those in Liberty, Bretonia, Omicrons, Taus or edgeworld.. and I believe Im not alone.
Rules could be added to prevent the same folk winning all the time. Also, there could be intentional bias to areas that need a boost. Affirmative action, sort of thing. Urgh, I'm supporting affirmative action. Someone shoot me.

maybe split it between houses like

best RPing faction of month in Bretonia, Best RPing faction of moth in Liberty etc. etc. and every vote in poll must be confirmed bellow in discusion like

Kambei (RHA, KNF) voting for Hogosha for kusarian space, RFP for RH space.

If happend that same faction win another month again, this faction take 30% of price and 70% would be given to faction which ended as second.

I don't think making it competitive is wise... and not faction related either. This could create all sorts of trouble.

Perhaps random rewards for individuals that do well. Prizes for doing well. Not big ones.

How about just using this thread instead, and make it completely uncompetitive. Good roleplay should be it's
own reward, not cash incentive driven.

It's sad but true, however, that 'well done' just doesn't work on some people.
