Evenin' m' friends:
I's left with no words to say how i'm a feelin', but i'm gona try cuz we had us the biggest ol Gateway convoy tat I's ever seen. Not only tat, but we had us a group of steely eyed killers to watch over our ships an' I don't need to say how safe I was wit' tem around.
Our flock o ships left Cambridge an' sailed up to Altona Station with a load 'f Beryllium. We stopped at the Freeport in Omega 3 fer a bit then kept on a goin'. Our very own escort ship Gateway)Aidan.Baker wuz a leadin' t' way an made sure tat no pirate or other dern criminal was hid'n behind a jumpgate 'r tradelane. MM~Dha.Piruna an' Austin.Goodmen was a guardin' our flanks an' stayed in the middle of the convoy while MM~Diana.Blane and MM~Billy.Bishop flew in t' back guardin' our behinds don't you know. MM~Billy.Bishop hat t' leave part way into the trip, but he left 's in good hands wit' his other Mandalorian brothers. The ship Rust_Bucket kep' havin' engine troubles 'n so he had t' catch up t' us a couple o times.
Weun made 't safely to Altona Station in Hamburg 'n offloaded the Beryllium. We ten loaded up robotic components an' headed to Dortmund Station. After all t' ships wuz a gittin out 'f Dortmund Station, well sir, our luck finally give out 's we fell into a Hessian web-o-death don't you know. Tem dern RHA criminals headed by [RHA]Wulf.Sternhammer had laid a snake-trap fer us at Bonn Station an' also at the Stuttgart jumpgate. T'ey had 's hog tied an' hangin' o'er the fire. Wit' death starin' us in t' face, ol Mr. Buchanan plays a little trick on-em an' has th' transports a fly'in through open space from Dortmund Station to the Stuttgart jumpgate while's our escort ships lay into tem RHA ships with a bit o gunfire the likes i's never seen, an' don't ever want t' see again.
While tem Mandalorians, Gateway)Aidan.Baker, 'n Austin.Goodmen wus teach'n tem RHAers th' meaning o pain, all the transport ships jumped safely to the Stuttgart system an' docked 'n Planet Stuttgart t' load up 'n luxury food. As weun was leaving Stuttgart, Mr. Buchanan calls back the escort ships t' rejoin the convoy since we wuz safe an headin' to Omega 7. Tem' escort pilots wus so good they hain't have a single dadblame scratch 'n their ships from tem RHA vipers. I was beam'in with pride fer em.
The trip back through t' Omegas was smooth an quiet, an we stopped at the Freeport to take a little break from all t' action. Af'er a bit, we headed back t' Planet New London t' sell the luxury food b'fer i' spoiled an' then finish r trip back 't Kensington Station. Subject: Introduction
Greetings,
I just thought I would take a few moments to introduce myself as I am very shiny and new to Gateway.
I am Roj Blake and up until recently I was working on New London, working in the insurance sector (yes, not very exciting). I grew tried of my planet bound life and, as I had no commitments, I left my job and hitched a lift with a freelancer (Kerr Avon) to see some of the sights around Bretonia. I was hooked.
On getting back to New London, I cashed in all my worldly possessions and contacted Gateway who have kindly taken me on board as a Trader. I love Bretonia and I figured working for a smaller, yet succesful company, like Gateway would be very fufilling.
My current ship is a Firefly class transport - the Dawlish and I've been doing the lux good run from Manhattan to New London, with the gold run back to Fort Bush. I got caught by a pirate last night, but it was not a heavy demand and I was on my own so I paid up.
I am really looking forward to taking part in my first convoy run and really open to helping anyone out or advice!

I got jumped 3 times by pirates on the run from the Hood to Fort Bush tonight.
The last incident left me with a ship on it's last legs....jumped by pirates Richard Coldwin and Al Bundy - outside Manhattan. They couldn't seem to agree on what to take off my hands....4 million, 7 million.....so I stalled and they started shooitng....
I managed to crashland what was left of the Dawlish on to Manhattan and am now planet bound why the ship gets repaired.
Not a great run tonight and actually pretty terrifying!

Greetings. just doing the message dump. been a few days. but been running a small route. neon to the cambridge research station. pharmasuticals to the battleship hood. gold to fort bush. h-fuel to mahatten to start again. been makeing some decent profit. and finaly got me ship back. ye heard me i got me percheron back. the Broxtowe.II is flying true once more. i had picked up a load of gold today but as the callie system was crawling with xeno scum i chose instead to run me gold out to the ring in new berlin. from there i picked up h-fuel and ran it back to the battleship norfolk. i ran empty to mahatten and due to a AI problem stoped there for the day. the ground crew tell me it will be sometime sunday that i will be flying again. seems me AI contracted something called the HAL virus. no idea, all i know is it keeps singing "daisy daisy give me your answer true. i'm half crazy all for the love of you", so i be down for a while. but i did manage to pull a 7 mil profit off of todays tradeing so i am not complaining. that is minus the 1 mil i paid to a kindly merc to get me out of mahatten the first part of me day. and the 2 million donation to the liberty navy for saveing me bottom from a outcast destroyer.

Well sir, I's carry'n a load of gold t' Fort Bush don't you know. An' so fer, the trip is as easy as you pleez. I came through Magellan think'n i's out smart'n the dern pirates by fly'n through ter own system. An I's thinkin' tat I'm perty smart in all fer thinkin' up tis idea.
As I swing aroun' Riverside Station in California and jump in the trade lane t' th' New York jumpgate, My nav map is a goin' all red 'n alarms er goin off. I slam 'n th' brakes an jump out 'f th' tradelane bout half way to the jumpgate. Right's before m' eyes is two Lane Hackers name Reflux an' Kalin.
As yer all a known, I's a gettin' a bit tired 'f all these dern pirates swarmin' on me like leeches to a blood clot. So I's crank up the cruise engine an' I high tail it back th' way I came, a runnin' from Reflux an' Kalin. Not a know'n what else t' do, I's head fer th' Pennsylvania jumphole and I's lose em goin' through the asteroid field since tey thot I was a flyin up an over'em.
I make it to Pennsylvania safe and soun' an' finish m' trip to Fort Bush to offload th' gold. After load'n up 'n boron at Pittsburgh, I decide to take m' chance an' head back fer California. Well sir, i's bout as smart as that load o boron in the back of m' ship. As soon 's I jump from New York to California, tem dern pirates ur waiting fer me right at the exit o the jumpgate. Is lookin' pretty grim fer Gimpy an' me, but a few seconds later, a navy ship named HiFly jumps out o the New York jumpgate an he's hearin' my call fer help. He starts a shootin' at tem Lane Hackers.
See'n m' chance, I hit the cruise engine an point m' dern ship straight down. A bit later, our savior HiFly is blown to smithereens. But by then, I'm outa th' scanner range o' tem Hackers. They's a callin' insults to ol Skipsea 'n th' system channel, but she's a sailin away an' free.

Greetings All,
First of all, good to know you're safe, Mr. Aderholt. Please let me know if you have reimbursed HiFly for his trouble, and if not, I'll instruct funds to be sent his direction.
I am pleased to announce that Gateway has a new Assistant Director of Trade Operations (ADTO), Mr. Calum McDonald (Slainte) of the GlenCoe. Mr. McDonald is one of our most senior traders who has been with Gateway for some time now, and he has proved time and again his helpfulness to new traders and his good judgment with general trading practices and route development. We are glad he has stepped forward to fill this position!
We are looking for one additional ADTO, preferably with a shift around GMT-4 - GMT-6 or so, though that is not absolutely required. If you are interested and have the experience necessary for such a responsibility, please PM me privately.
