Ok... my internet connection -seems- to be holding out alright. It picked up a bit this afternoon, so I'll be attending this one unless it goes lame again.
*crys* i could trow my PC out of the window for crashin in this fight.
Id like to suggest to move the next battle to a more private place, into Bremen or New Hampshire or so. Too many people jumping in, or getting pissed there in Hudson.
Well, despite the rheinland battleship cruising in combat to close the distance to the san fran, the two extra gunboats that appeared out of nowhere and the number of fighters that appeared. It still came down to a 2 vs 2.
To those who fought properly, that was a damned good fight, but next time, lets move it to another system and see what happens. I'd like somewhere a little more quiet and secluded for this, as frankly that was a bit of a cluster... *ehem*... a cluster-something.
That said... It was a long fight, a very enjoyable one.
It has become apparent to me that a serious lack of discipline and appropriate military behavior exists in our engagements with the Liberty Navy--and I've had enough of it. All pilots will memorize and follow without question the set of instructions listed below:
1. The highest ranking member of the RM faction is in charge of the battle group at all times. RM pilots below that rank and all independent/allied pilots will follow orders and follow them without question. I don't give a rat's ass about your personal problems, your political connections, your secret information, or how wonderful you think you are. You will follow orders and you will do so happily.
2. Any pilot in the RM faction regardless of how low their rank, is of a higher rank then any independent/allied pilot. If you don't like it, tough, that's the way it is. This is an official RM operation and all pilots taking part are subject to RM laws and orders.
3. Any pilot not following RM orders and/or not displaying appropriate military discipline, will be excused from the current operation. Your name will also be given to Chancellor Rheinhardt for further disciplinary action.
4. All "//unofficial"communications with the Liberty Navy will be handled by the leader of the Rheinland battle group. Any pilot who thinks they are just too important to not talk to the LN will be charged with treason and excused from the current operation. Chancellor Rheinhardt will also determine your fate.
5. Cut the chatter in the group channel. In fact, I want absolute silence unless orders are given and received. Orders will be given in the group channel and all I want to hear are "Yes" sir or ma'am as appropriate. If you are unsure of what to do, then please ask. Your orders will be clarified.
6. The leader of the battle group or his/her designate will be the only pilot adding anyone to the group channel. All requests to join the battle group are subject to approval of the battle group leader or designate.
I expect full compliance of the above by all Rheinland Military and allied pilots. My superiors may modify or remove the above rules as they see fit.
