Aye mates, Ive been out for a wee while, but im back at the helm of me ship, providing all with the sundries needed to enjoy oneself.

As always happens to me, a bloody drunken molly decided to take a piss on my ship in Trafalgar. I would have none of that and i made sure he knew it, and by knew it i let him have a feel of a fiver. This started a bit of a ruckus and long story short, i my ship got taken apart piece by piece by mollys, and i was tied up.

Had to pay through the nose to get my ship back together but im here.

Not sure whether im required to upgrade Sheila my X-Shuttle, but if any of you have some spare coin it would be appreciated.

Apparently, I suffered from the same fate as you did, boss. I read the private memo first. You can disregard that memo as well.

Anyways, I couldn't find Mr. Zodiac, so I explored a little. Guns sell for around >1k in Humbolt, and I recommend stopping at Houston to pick them up before making the final leg of the short run. That should maximize profit per run by nearly 200%.

Gents, you seemed a bit confused last night as to why Associate Tutone and I opened fire on you near Atka.

Let me clarify: We responded to a distress call from a Trader, callsign "Zukeenee". Trader Zukeenee claimed that you and "your" associate opened fire on him without any warning whatsoever. (This, by the way, is the action of a "terrorist", not a "mercenary".) Just because our Firm is not the most "lawful" group in the Sector, we still classify ourselves broadly as "traders". You apparently had issues with our coming to the aid of another trader, one who was being terrorized without warning. Well, welcome to the real world.

We will continue to come to the aid of fellow traders if they are threatened, especially when threatened in the dishonorable manner you demonstrated last night. I believe your little group is having a crisis of indentity. If you are indeed "mercenaries/guns for hire", then please show proof of your "contract" against Trader Zukeenee. If you have degenerated to piracy, then I suggest you follow the gentleman's rule of warning your intended target before engaging. But if, as it now appears, you are simply terrorists with no conscience or honor, aren't you supposed to fall on your swords in dishonor or something? Please, don't let us stop you from your time-honored traditions.

As to your unwarranted threats of adding us to your "hit list", you are welcome to try. I believe our firm currently has about four times the membership your little cadre boasts. Do you really want to go there?

In closing, you TBF tossers, I shall transmit a copy of this memo to "your" message dump, just in case your inbred crew members haven't figured out how to turn their comms dials yet.

Gents,

It seems that several of our Depots/Warehouses are tied up elsewhere at present, so I've taken the liberty of procuring a fat load of SMJ for distribution from the "Safe House". All associates are welcome to load up and distribute at your favorite market. Wholesale price is 1500 per, which should still provide you with a healthy profit margin. Feel free to mix your load with the local "C" as well. Grab a case of Corona at Arecibo and come on down!

On another note, I have not seen any response from our dance partners of the other evening, TBF. I would however advise caution if they should be spotted in your area. It seems this Klingon honor thing is so deeply imbedded that it causes severe constipation. No wonder they're cranky.

And a final note. Participation in our little Company newsletter here seems to have fallen off. Please submit any of your Department's news, events, success stories, individual stories of heroism or sneakiness, etc. This is your little inter-departmental rag. Please make use of it.

I can see why you are ticked off old friend. Other than posting on this forum, I haven't been on except for the 2 1/2 hours yesterday, and no sight of one LDI associate.

Now, to all associates, I certainly hope that you are not all treating Shamus like the way I've treated him. Like an A**hole. He's a nice guy, and if you think about it, ya owe him.

I've been quite the a** to shamus, and that is why I'm posting my official resignation here.

As for the other terms we mentioned, like the 6.5 Million that I owe you, I have the money, but won't be on to give it to you.

And therein lies the issue, mates.

The Firm was established basically to be a thorn in the side of SF.. partly for political/tactical reasons, partly for personal reasons. (Correct me if I'm wrong, Kingpin.).

Well, it's become a hobby for most of us.. Somewhere to "moonlight" when our "day jobs" don't require attention.

For whatever reasons, stated, implied, or totally in the realm of evolution, I'm of the opinion that LD.Inc has outlived it purpose and "usefulness". Time to quit beating the dead horse. Elgato may have just been in the blast radius of a "bad day".

For my part, there's also another issue.. succinctly stated by the Prophet Hagbard:
"Never Whistle while you're Pissing!"

I imagine that for the rest of you, the truth is you'd rather not risk soiling your broughams, either.

Hmm. Looks like a few things got blown up in my absence. And Shamus, the SF have enough thorns in their sides. We're simply buisnessmen, with guns.

SO, radical restructuring time. A few things here gentles, so I'll make a list:

1) LD.Inc, the Faction, is gone. LD.Inc, the Group, is born. Basically a legal issue at this point, and to encourage not-recruiting. Anyone and Everyone in the Faction as of RIGHT NOW is welcome and encouraged to stay. If you wish to leave, that is your perrogative.

2) Recruiting, in any fashion, will halt. We are now truely 'invite only', the only way to get in is to be recommended by one of our members, and approved by me.

3) Ranks, such as they are, are gone. If you wish to keep Smuggler/Trafficker/Outrider, feel free, but they no longer distinguish one from another. I will pay for any NCC's that are required. On that note, you are all promoted to 'Associate'! (It's a promotion, I assure you)

4) Shipping, ships, and vessels will remain as they are for the most part. The B-Moth will be the largest crate we roll, aside from my personal flagship, King's Carnival. Anyone with a 'raider' is encouraged to hold onto them, I hope to encourage escorts for hire as protection against aggresive corsairs. Feel free to hire yourselves out, negotiation of price will be up to the individual, I may or may not institute standardized rates, I'd like some input on that.

5) Soon, we will begin group smuggling runs, during peak police activity. I'll announce more about that later, if anyone has some idea's they'd like to try out, shout it out.

So, thats that. Any Questions, concerns or comments are to be adressed here, to me. If anyone wants a fancy title of some kind, I may consider it for a crate of saphire...

Now, to the Bar aboard me new Heap, The King's Carnival. I'm buying, as it is my booze. The first person to decide they want a silly title wins a cookie.
