However, I feel that the cannons should be set further back on the pivot point. Looking at them now they seem like they might do strange clipping things when you attempt to aim them up or down.

Seriously though, I really like them, and we want some sort of massive projectile weapon, slow-firing but powerful.

Maybe because it looks like a cannon from a 17th century pirate ship?
Its not even close to what we already got. And doesnt fit well with the style all other turrets follow.
Look at the new proposed BHG turrets and compare them to this. Or take every other turret ingame and compare it to this.
It just doesnt fit.
