Bjorn, this remark concerns ME, not the USI. This was a personnal comment and as far as I know connecticut is OORP. Dont involve the faction in this, if you have a problem with me, fix it with me. (for point 5)

For point 1, I actually never saw myself USI members tracking random pirates other than trying to fine one of our traders or an employee or tracking a pirate of the bounty list. But maybe I miss things. Please also check Universal Shipping ID.

For minefields, it's a tactic like any other, I see it being done everyday, yet I don't see anything official prohibiting this, even though I'm not fond of this tactic.

Removed point 5, you are right, but il stand with rest. And, yes it is tactic, and good one. But its not something you do if you are allready outnumbering oponent.

As for tracking, ive seen it.

If it wasn't in the Universal Shipping ZOIs defined by the Universal Shipping ID Card, then please report it to Michael.Trenton for investigation.

We take problems seriously.

Quote: * Can trade and escort traders
* Can hunt pirates and terrorists within Liberty, or within systems where Universal has a base, or in self-defense, or to protect another trader.
* Cannot attack any Xenos
* Cannot participate in any unlawful actions
* Cannot fulfill bounty contracts
* Cannot ally with any unlawfuls.

There, if it's out of that, tell us.
The hunt within Liberty makes me ponder though about a point, is it free roam in liberty or engage hunt if called for assistance by lawfuls.

I would just like to add that we can control our members, but in no way we are going to force thems to be behavior nazis, I may agree about your minefield point, but we can't restrict thems for doing so if they wish to, they're still free people behind the screen, not enslaved once they join the USI. We give a big importance to social in the USI, not only in RP, but also in OORP.

I'll get the thing that erks me the most out of the way first.

Stop attacking any unlawful forces.

The only reason you should ever attack an unlawful is if;

A)They're attacking you.
B)They're pirating you.

It doesn't matter if your ID says you can, it isn't very inRP for a trade corporation to help the Navy, particularly the vice president (when was the last time you saw Bill Gates hunting the Taliban?).

Now that I've got the "I don't like this" out of the way....

Apart from the above. Good job, nice RP, nice trade convoys.

Miller, it was in NY, so it is acceptable ZoI, but coorporation (any other than LPI because its their job) that is activly hunting pirates makes me laugh. You arent military, you are traders with some thughs who like to wave guns around as escort. Thats fine, but attacking enemy that isnt threatening you atm is bad conduit.

You havent breached any server rules, but its breach of server ettiquete.

KoF once got themselves in war with SCRA because they were acting like paramilitary, hunting down pirates all around. It was before zoi id restrictions so you could have seen them in omegas hunting. That was bad. You are doing it now too, but in ZoI. Yes, its legal, but its frankly stupid from rp perspective.

ID states what you can and what you cant do. It doesnt say what you should do however.

Let me give you an example. SCRA ID says we can stop slavers and cardi runners anywhere in sirius, and levy fines. I still have to see it happen. And we also decided we wont fine, because of proto socialist rp, and rp where we use different currency.

Every Trader faction ID says they can hunt, but no faction to date except you and KoF have done so for now. Dont do it, its annoying and pointless.

Well I'll direct the VP to your post then, just because I approve it.

My thinking is :

- We attack if one of us gets pirated
- We attack if we get clear death threats
- We attack if the individual is within 5k range of an universal base.
- Individual is on the bounty list for crimes against the USI.

Out of these points, we should stay neutral. We had a few days ago some problems with a few new recruits doing military based objectives.(been fixed, took an hour to explain thems everything again)
I'm not online enough to see everything :<

I would like to get in-touch with one of the leaders of USI, preferably over Skype. Those USI members who I do have Skype details of are rarely available, but I have been told that there are some of you that generally are.

Please contact me in some way whenever you have a chance. PMs here work fine, replies here work fine, email works fine, wiki talk page works fine, Skype works fine, most IM works fine.

The core of the USI use Steam to chat between applications, another pack use xfire. Since we are still organising we haven't decided what program to globally use. I know you can get the president on Skype, but the VP no idea.

Note : the president is unavailable for the moment for RL issues.
But if needed you can also speak to me.
