and sorry for the double post, but next version of discovery, if galia is allowed to interact with other houses, bretonia will be at the center of everything, maybe we'll find the same situation going over to there?
dont know what will happen to the omicrons, they'd be a long way away

This is a great idea, and I'd be interested to see you take this statistic at different times during the day and post them here in comparison.

I have personally seen a lot of powertraders flying through the Tau's.

The shorter branch of the slave/cardi route goes through there.

Those who suggest cutting things down to one house are looking at this backwards, I think. Instead, we should remove New York, and watch to see where people eventually resettle. Hehe

I say we blow NY up.

*Calls in the Phantoms* MOX Bomb air strike, target: Manhattan.

But jokes aside, honestly removing NY or whatever won't change anything. Everyone will just move to another system, and then everyone will flock there to interact/kill/"insert-word-of-something-someone-doesn't-like"whore each other. It's Human Nature. We all hate each other, yet if we all went our seperate ways we'd have no one to hate.

Know why? Tau is Outcast pirating territory. And where are all the Outcasts? New York. If you don't want to be pirated... you go to Tau.
And before anyone says "Outcasts are the problem, they should leave Liberty" That's wrong. The only reason there's so many OCs in Liberty is because Outcast ships, particularly the Gunship, are viewed as superior to local ships, such as Lane Hacker and Liberty Rogue. Remove Outcasts from Liberty, you won't remove the mind-set. Everyone will just swap to the next best ship and keep going...

I hope that was a joke, coz I'm about to be a little serious hehe

You can't get rid of New York, no matter how many lolwutter's are there. In terms of RP, New York is the trade center of Sirius. Everything goes through there are and out. And besides there are several factions based in NY as well such as LPI, USI and a number of others as well. Even though there is certainly a high number of lolwutters there, the population give it an advantage for RP, thus we see the most number of pirating going on in NY.

Just...RP there really...

I suppose on a more serious note, the population density in NY makes it a sort of a haven for people who are actually actively looking for RP. The problem is carving your way down past the lulwut to get to the juicy nuggets of RP available. The problem is, unless you go out and look for it yourself, the only RP you're going to find is "Pirates BB are invade Manhattan! lololol"

Joining established factions like LPI, LSF, USI, DSE, and others based in the area can help to a degree, of course.. but stick around long enough, and the lulz will find you.

I did not understand where the problem should be there?

It is that not every system can hold tons of playing peoples there. You have also on the earth much much places, where you definitly not like Tokyo or New York at rush hour. Or is the whole planet a big megacity? I guess not. There are also plenty of people who appreciate something "restless" and not a permanent mass accumulation.

And if the universe would zoom to just few systems to people concentrate at a place, you can probably rest assured that there will be to come large mass exoduses from discovery. I would be surely one of them.

Here is an idea, buff all Liberty NPC's so unlawfuls can't farm in during fights. You KNOW who you are.

Also nice graph, and that is still a lot of people in Liberty without New Spam York.
