Huge Liberty lawful group

We later heard of a large hacker fleet in California. We launched an orchestrated effort to attack and destroy them but they fled at the sight of two Liberty assault battlecruisers. Good choice VR fleet.

And uh, when was this exactly? From when you posted it, I haven't brought the Metropolis out to California in weeks. Expect people to run when you bring a Mortar to a knife fight.

I've seen their LH Spyglass flee from two Avengers, a Guardian and an Executioner, all but one piloted by the [LN]

If I remember correctly, this was a long time ago. And unless two Avengers can fire SNACs, that group you were a part of was not composed of those ships.

perhaps if all lawfuls in NY make one huge group then we will have more success in fighting pirates. Today we did it again but we had even more GBs and 3 BCs. At this rate NY will be very safe.

Are you suggesting adding more lolcap BCs to Liberty? :crazy:

I was in an Arrow - 'Ens._Michael_Erinsson', if anyone's wondering - and there was no ganking involved at any point there. Two pirates did engage a large group of lawfuls near Manhattan, but, as was said above, they were lagging horrendously and were nearly impossible to hit as a result (they claimed it was dodging, but... I was directly behind one in the Arrow when it jumped upwards 10m all of a sudden...).

Also, as for those thinking 'capwhores' - there were 2 LABCs, between 2 and 4 GBs at any one time, 3 bombers and the rest fighters - the group size was 16 at one point.

Ganking is getting out of hand here. I was flying around in my LH guy a few weeks ago, and ran into an LPI officer, who was in a Patriot. I was in my Dagger, so it was a completely fair fight between us. Then all of a sudden two damn cruisers show up and start blasting away. Since when does the LN have the time and resources to sent all of their capital ships to chase down a couple pirates, when they are fighting a full blown war with Rheinland? Stop lolwutting and start RP'ing.

I don't quite see how this has any relevance to the rest of the thread. We certainly didn't encounter a Dagger in the course of that evening.

I was piloting the BHG GB Acheron,

I was eventually destroyed.. After my killer left NY, I returned..

Spyder made short work of my GB but after that he was destroyed.
I returned to WP and regrouped with the rest of the group.

I `love` when people do this. This is why NY is always full - people like you just pvpwhore there 24/7 with all their chars - which ofc all belong to some Liberty faction - and cannot be removed even for 4 hours because of this `trick`. Thanks for creating lag.

Randomly flame people much? Really, the guy was speaking about one specific occasion when a big bunch of us trundled about and generally enjoyed ourselves - and without any ganking being involved, either (the two people who were lagging too much for anyone to land a hit on don't count). Is it necessary to jump up and down on someone else's fun? If you -were- affected by that group... then why not elaborate? What you did say was rather vague.
