I'd have to say this would seem to be a great step in RP.

The pirate ships - which are, as we know, way too large for their own good - could get a lot of cargo each - like the Bloodhound could get 150, the Hyena 200, the Wolfhound 300, and the Werewolf 400.

They're so massive that it would make sense if they were built with large cargo holds for the reasons of stealing cargo.

The way legacy is planning on doing it is a choice, do you bribe us or do you give us your cargo. That would be for factions we like and ones we dont....well they would owe us cargo and a lot more of it.

It wouldnt be fair though for the average trader to be loosing his cargo, so a "hey you give me your cargo, though i could be bought off with a bribe" deal would be best I would think. So I say no to oorp but cargo piracy should still be implemented.

The Mollies in Bretonia are certainly blessed when it comes to cargo piracy. With so many bases in Bretonia, each with their own demands for particular goods, cargo can usually taken somewhere for a hefty profit. I'm not certain about other pirate organisations, though. This measure might end up hurting some groups unduly.

IF you realy care about some hardcore rp... that would mean, the robber (expecialy the ones who are in houses) would try to take EVERYTHING they can. Its exortion. I doubt in reality *stfu stfu stfu* if you get exorded, the robber will ask ... "give me 20 percent of your todays profit"

So.. the robbing in small amounts its not in RP at all.. its just for the sake of fairplay.

Why shouldnt I pirate all the Cargo? I pirate as much as I can carry. I dont care if I take all the Cargo then, I am there to Roleplay a Pirate. A Pirate wont think about fairness.

I always take Cargo.
More fun to fly in a Transport then a Bomber. Does the job just as well. More RP opportunity when you look at it.
I'm usually with someone preferably in a bomber going with me. Just in case. Split 50/50 what we make.

Well, if a junker is carrying a shipment of cardamine, you priate him and take that cardamine to the same base, i dont see why would outcast be upset.

5000 units have been bought on Malta and carried away to ship to Manhattan.

That's it, done. The Outcasts really don't care after that point, they've made their money.

Get in California and stop Deuterium, Cardamine, HFuel, Neons, Counterfeit softwares, Black Market Munitions, Niobium ... Look at the prices around !

Get in O47 and stop the high amount of Organs, Deuterium, Softwares, Gold ... and look at the price once again !

You're mad to say 2MorDai gives more than cargo tax.
Trader never pays, so when they don't pay, you get nothing if you are 2MorDai-ing in a bomber.
Trader always drop their cargo, ALWAYS ! 3000 of it at least, but they do !


Also ... about taking all the cargo, it depends of lot of things...
I won't for a zoner but with a bretonian I won't have to mind it twice, bretonians drops ALL. Don't forget the bretonians are my best "friends":D
