I would rather be warned, BUT in a humorous way, something that will grab my attention faster.
Such as: WARNING!! Possible attack of free roaming space hamsters may occur! Secure all items & pray they don't chew through the wires!
Or somethin like that...

as far as the warning itself goes, if its too ridiculous people wont get what the heck your talking about. i like the one warning someone said about altering the laws of the universe that was pretty funny

Just send this message:

"This is the Sirius Neural Network advisory channel, please be warned that the Neural Network is currently undergoing maintenance. This may cause problems if you are wishing to access your vessels accounts".

Fits RP as well being subtle enough to warn players that they might have trouble accessing their ships ie: accounts.
