* Order tend to have variuos allies which are Corsairs enemies. Like Blood Dragons or Even Outcasts. I dont think COrsairs would trust them in the first place.

In SP, Order agents were among Outcasts, Dragons, Rogues, and they also have 'contacts' in Rheinland... Bundschuh maybe?

Since noone mentioned it so far, Order never recruited outcasts, not even in vanilla, because already back then they considered the nomads as holy spirits and were far too cardamine-addicted.

yeah, i dont think there's much reason for them to be allied, however i think the various corsair factions should be free to ally with them as they choose, get rid of the cannon alliances and RP it out instead.
then there'd be clear benefits to both factions.

AS far as I understood the SP, only Orillion and the Osiris were 'core' Order, and they were just a few rogue LSF agents who smelled the nomad conspiracy.

The rest were just individuals who aided the Order for one reason or another or who were just a contact that the order had.

Van Claussen wanted to save his house from the infected Reichskanzler, those kusari guys just fought the governor who happened to also be infected, and the rogues probably just helped for money and had no idea what a nomad was, as most pilots in blood dragons and bundschu.

When it comes to more than just some contacts, but a true 'alliance', I would think that now the houses that actively fight nomads or wilde (kusari, rhineland, and Corsairs) should be first choice.

Corsairs are closest to the Order and nomad systems, so they make the most obvious ally. 'Good' and 'bad' doesnt play any role what so ever when you are fighting against nomads.

Let's end the alliance, but let's remain friendly. We have BHG and Nomads enemies in common, don't forget.

About the new alliances for the Order, I must admit it's not really obvious for me... We keep Zoners of course, but then...?

Maybe Blood Dragons to contain the Kusari Wilde. Maybe the Bundshuch to contain the Rheinland Wilde. They are both historical allies of the Order (SP campaign), and they are not pirats, more political free forces. It could be good, I guess.

But of course, we will need to talk about a very long time before decide anything.

To be allied becouse of nomads it's quitea huge nuisense. Since ORder would be allied with whole sirius in that way. And why da hell Corsairs should be allied with order?.. What if they cut their alliance order will stop fighing their war in omicrons and let the nomads to go fight the corsairs? - NO they wouldn't They would fight the nomads no matter if they have Corsairs or not. This is not an argument for an alliance.

Corsairs do not activly fight the Nomads. It is quite far from Corsair empire interest. Altought they have Yaren in distent omicron system. But mostly it operates to fight BHG.

I voted to dissolve the alliance but to maintain a neutral stance with the Corsairs.

A neutral relationship would work better if the Order wants to convince the BD to join common cause.

The Bundschuh would be the Order's eyes in ears in Rheinland, per canon.

It would be interesting to have an ally in Liberty space as well, but who would it be? Hackers, perhaps? A fifth colomn in the LSF?

Nomads are a bigger problem for Corsairs than... lets say Bretonians... because there is a jumphole to a nomad world right in gamma.

The vanilla wrecks near the nomad system jump holes in alpha and gamma, and the according bar rumors/infocards imply that Outcast and Corsairs have seen Nomads long before Nomads infected Rhineland and Kusari.

Its implied that Corsairs were fighting the nomads, while Outcasts saw them as spirits, and heard them in their cardamine trance.

You would think that the Order and LSF would be allies after the end of the SP campain. The disco storyline says they ended up fighting each other... not my decision, I think its ok and interesting.

Bretonia is farthest from any nomad systems, except for the DKV ruins maybe... so they are hardly fighting them at all.

Yet, there is a sort of unofficial Outcast/bret alliance. I wont say more on it, but I supose the devs know what they are doing considering the future developement of hte storyline.

Rhineland suffered most in the Nomad war. They established a Gottkanzler dictature to get rid of the nomads, and are fighting them hard in the form of wilde. I would personally like to see an alliance between Rhineland and Order, if only an unofficial one. Makes sense with regard to Liberty too.

Liberty... they are doing secret experiments in Alaska. And they decided to fight the Order. And started war with Rhineland. And got the shrine and Oracles right in their back yard. In the SP you heard that the LSF was obviously infected since they started chasing Juni and Trent and the FP7 refugees. But at the end of hte SP campain htey said The Order is pardonned and so on, but not that all the LSF and government is really purged form nomads. Its kinda swept under the rug. When you see morphs and keepers, you wont see the navy ?r LSF attacking them all the time. You can make theories about all that as you like, I got mine.

Kusari was also infected, the infected got busted, and they are fighting the Kusari wilde (at least I heard they are, I never actually saw it).

About all the other factions, yes they should theoretically be fighting the nomads, but they dont have them in their backyard yet. Corsairs certainly do, as does Rhineland and Kusari. Order is in the backyard of hte Nomads, where they should be. Nomads are in the backyard of the Outcast, but they are welcome there. Anothe reason to side for Order to side with Corsairs.

The Corsairs were the first to fight the nomads (graveyard in Gamma).
The Corsairs pillage the DKV ruins, and make a business out of it. The nomads wont like that.
The Corsairs might be the reason the 'caretakers' aka the nomads attacked humanity in the first place.

So, the Order has interest in controlling the DKV artifact trade, and in being involved in it.. to have the first hand on those artifacts that are valuable or 'dangerous' and leave the rest to be examined by human scientists... so that humanity will understand the DKV better and have better cards against the nomads.

Order dont care much if one human robs another... they care if at least one of the 2 survive.

the nomads attacked the humans because they infested the space their creators have given to them to temporarily live in, not because of the corsairs. the daam k'vosh created the nomads and put them in sirius space so that they can learn, evolve, make progress and eventually travel outside of sirius to find and rejoin the daam k'vosh. humans in sirius are preventing this, that is why they fight them. it was the nomads home in the first place. try to see this conflict as two empires waging war over soil, with the nomads being the original inhabitants and humans the attackers. nomads motives are not to simply eradicate mankind, just get them out of thir porch.
