Nah, really I'm not. I just see a huge hole in all this alliance thing and lack of logical thinking. And after someone made Osiris restricted, the whole history of order/corsair alliance... went *puff*

Don't be paranoid, I didn't insulted anybody. It just seems that some people in Corsair side work on binary ( you are with us or against us). Order people aren't allies with BD at the moment, but when we see one in space, we are friendly with him, because of the past etc...

Why Corsairs players can't do the same if we break the alliance ? It's too hard to do ?

And about pirating Order ships (*laughs*), what will you pirate ? Our 3 transports we bring out every 35th of the month ? Or maybe you will try to pirate Gebs or Nehpthys ? Come on guys...

Even if the alliance is broken, we still have the BHG as common enemy and, in a lesser detail, Nomads. We have absolutely no reason to turn hostile each others, maybe except the artifacts smugglers, but I didn't saw any one of them in Minor since many month.

If you read up on the Order. Zoners are their allies. Two of the three offical Zoner factions have shipping divisions. The Order can broker deals to have Zoners bring them supplies or they can get supplies from Freeport 9, Corfu, and Freeport 11 if they need them. They already do this as is.

The Order can survive without the Corsairs. Acting like they can't get supplies is ignorant.

you do realize that there's no alternative way to Order but trough Gamma. And Gamma is sacred. Order doesn't have firepower to outlast Corsair AND nomad threat.

Give me one good reason why we shouldn't pirate anything that comes trough Gamma then? Or charge Order for passing trough?

You are incorrect about there not being an alternative way to Order systems. You also fail to understand that the Corsairs don't have the firepower to outlast the Order and Nomand threat. You think the Nomads will stop attacking Corsairs because they aren't friends with the Order? Please.


Loss the egos. Both factions can stand on their own without beign allied to each other. Some Corsairs will indeed pirate Order personal if the alliance is broken. Those are the ones that are two faced and would kill their own parents, they are pirates, its their job. Though I clearly recall Ivan claiming they weren't pirates.


The point of this alliance is gone. The Corsairs should get their own version of the Osiris since it was the reason for the alliance in the first place. Why this was taken from them is frankly stupid.

My vote is neutral. Will this mean they end up hostile? Maybe, maybe not. Corsairs pirate other factions and they are not hostile to them. Its a risk you take if you go into their area.

the path between minor/100 and tohoku is actually quite safe. Omicron 92 has a dead lair and zero nomad activity, and while Tohoku does have the wilde around, there's also numerous blood dragon patrols fighting them, along with a blood dragon base.

I agree. Neither we have a strong reason to be in alliance. Order would fight the nomads just same as they did in alliance with Corsairs or with out it.

Earlier then I pointed this question, the discussion ended. The ones who claimed that we should be in alliance had strong argument about Osiris. But now it was blown away, and if that was changed, all history should be re-written.. So I tought, a right moment topoint out the question agian

Am I correct in assuming that someone didnt let you fly an Osiris with Corsair iff and ID?

If yes, thats the standard other factions have too. Rogues dont fly Outcast ships, Outcasts dont fly Rogue ships, liberty corporations dont fly navy ships, LPI doesnt fly navy caps.

USA got lots of allies, and they dont give them their F117 stealth bombers as presents.

Frankly I dont get what exactly are your reasons why the alliance should be broken?

What are you losing by letting those that fight bounty hunters and nomads pass?

What are you winning by trying to pirate a warship, who is fighting the same enemies as you and not aiding any of your enemies?

If you do not pass trough Gamma, as Tenacity says, then we could agree that we can charge you for passage of the ships we catch?
Or we will agree that Order needs Corsairs and remain allied?
