Thank you very much.
inRP I will stick to defence form of using zoom...But I changed the name of my character, so you won`t find out who it is unless attack.

I am not making ships for FL anymore, I am making my own space game instead:

To specifically answer the OP title

Try a freighter and then see all snubs horribly fail

I tried freighters, I tried bombers, I tried Fighters (VHF, SHF, LF).
Unfortunately I am still OP in any of that

It's when you're in Turret Mode and you zoom in and out with the mouse wheel.

Also allows for Turret Steer, which allows for rolling the ship and generally more dynamic movement than the usual movement. Pretty kickass stuff, especially useful in capital ship combat. Works with any ship though.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd only use it if the opponent uses it.

In space, nobody knows I'm a panda

So wait, when you're in turret mode, the mouse wheel handles zoom, not acceleration/deceleration? :o

You have to bind the keys, zoom out and zoome in are keyed to the numperpad + and - keys for me. In fact everything TS is bound to that area of my keyboard.
